Hi, I have most of my pages set up as posts, but when I go to a page they are all listed in it shows too much text for them (It will list everything in the first five or so line

I found it! Just in case anyone comes here looking for a quick answer, I will share.
On the post's edit page
1. Click screen options tab at the very top of the page
2. Click the 'excerpt' check box
A text box will appear on the page where you can type in a summary.
