I'm lost.!
Everything seemed to be working for me .. until I came to the part where i should start to write the content .. i stopped and couldn't find anything to write .. and that's because i got the website for a particular product and made it as a review website .. about a product i know nothing about and a niche i totally know nothing about as well.. i really need help ! i don't know how to start .. i mean about the niche i don't know how to get the niche, and the DMOZ thing is not paying off with me I'm not making the best use of it .. so i need a way to find a niche .. because this is the biggest issue i face .. your help will be much appreciated .

Here are my suggestions:
(1) Search within yourself for something you feel strongly about (pro or con),...
(2) Do some searching using google to see what is currently out there on that subject...
(3) Determine how you can make a contribution to the niche, i.e. new thoughts, ideas, tools, or resources...
(4) Then look for keywords that you need to focus on in preparing your content (articles)...
(5) Frame up an article or two and maybe have someone have a look at what you have to that point...
(6) Take the suggestions and refine the article...
(7) When you are happy that it is communicating to the reader what you intend, post it!
(8) Do it again...
Remember, perfection is not a requirement here, just that you get used to the process...The words and articles will get better as you go along, and the process easier to flow through...Rome was not made in a day, and certainly what we are doing is the same!

Pick a hobby, or expertise you have, heck, even something you're interested in learning. Next, decide the target audience. Once you have those two, then that's your niche.
If you have a product website, then write reviews on the product. Spend some time researching about the product, then write about it.
thank you for replying, regarding the hobby it's no good here because the hobby is football .. i tried it so many times but it's not paying off because the main niche in football is watching so it's not that profitable..
You could try selling stuff for football. Superbowl is coming up so if you get it set up now, you'll probably get a huge surge of customers coming up in a month or so.

well i don't know.. i mean .. i used to be a programmer , PHP programmer for websites and web applications.. now i work at Vodafone UK Technical Support and i have some experience in this field as it's not the 1st time in a call center for me

I read your reply to Kingdras, sounds to me like you would have good knowledge with mobile phones. I'm sure as a football fan there would be a multitude of ways to use that as a niche.
You could do a football site, write articles about matches. You could do reviews on football gear, boots, clothes etc. There are lots of sports suppliers with affiliate programs.
As someone with knowledge of PHP and web applications I have little doubt you could quickly become an expert on WordPress also and write all kinds of articles on it.
I think you're possibly letting the whole WA experience overwhelm you, take a step back, way up your options. You are ideal for this system, you just need to find yourself :)

thank you for this reply jay i really appreciate your words.. and for wordpress yes you're right i can easily deal with it , joomla and i even had the ability to create a platform like them and that maybe a very good idea.. and for the football gear it's great as well specially for football boots .. i think i have something to start with .. more than 1 great niche .. thank you again man you're a star
