My name is Elle, I contain less than zero technical savvy but have been searching for a long time for a way to accomplish the dream of working for myself and supplementing our income without taking time away from my family and believe I may have finally found a way to do that with WA.

I have a university degree in Exercise and Sport Science, I am a FA certified PT and Exercise Professional but most importantly I am a mum of two beautiful 17 month old girls (hopefully with another coming along soon!).
Before falling pregnant I had dreams of running my own physiology clinic and was enrolled to start my clinical masters a few months after I found out I was having twins. My first thought was ‘I can totally do it all’ then reality set it and I realized how difficult and complicated my pregnancy journey was going be so all other priorities were immediately dumped. Thanks to a lot of prayer and faith my girls were born healthy but I was now faced with a new challenge- sleep deprivation, and not just bags-under-my-eyes- tired but falling-asleep-standing-up tired and all ambitions for my future career slowly faded further away from my new reality.
This wouldn’t usually be a major issue for a young mum however a few months before falling pregnant I turned to my husband who was a medic in the Australian Army and informed him that I couldn’t go through another tour or stand the thought of constantly moving around with a young family. So in a huge act of bravery he resigned and started all over again as a carpenter, which is great for our home renos but a massive strain on our financial stats. Which in turn lead me to my current state of desperately needing to supplement our income but struggling to work under a majority of conditions that working mum’s battle with and without having to completely ignore my little ambitious voice in the background.
I apologies in advance for the many questions that may inundate the chat room…
Nice to meet you.
Elle.

Money Goals
I would be happy earning an average yearly income however would be absolutely ecstatic if this was double, even quadrupled (is that greedy?). I am willing to invest whatever time I have left after attending to my family, which some days isn't a whole lot but I'll do what I have to do.

Hi ElleG. Life certainly throws changes at us when we least expect it. I read your profile intro. You will be blessed for the sacrifices you have made. Sounds like you and your husband are a good team. Take good care of those children, study and work hard, and you will make healthy progress here. I am fairly new here myself. I've really enjoyed and been amazed at how supportive this community is. All the best to you and your family.

Hi Elle! Ellied63 told me I would find you here. I am excited to connect with other twin moms. I commend you for trying something like this now, particularly when yours are still so young! Congratulations on the little one to come - you are a super mom. I am still learning the ropes, as I joined just five days ago, but so far the training has been quite inspiring and practical at the same time. If I could ever help with anything, let me know!

Hi! Wow, so nice to meet you :) Haha definitely not super, if I'm being totally honest this is just something I was dying to do for myself that doesn't involve baby talk or food being thrown at me ;-) how old are your twins? There is so much to learn here but I haven't felt this involved or excited to learn something since uni. I really want to blog but also need to earn a little income to help the hubby, not sure how that's going to work yet though :s

Hello again! I am so delighted to hear about other moms doing "something for themselves," as it is something I struggled with and now feel very passionate about. In fact, I intend to address this idea in the latter phase of my blog. (Right now, I have one page if you don't count the privacy policy, so it is very new.) I can relate to wanting something for your own, but I could not figure out how to carve out the time until very recently. My twin girls are just over three-and-a-half now, and I am just now starting to feel more complete. From what I can tell you from the WA lessons, you can earn some income, but you have to be willing to wait. Success does not happen overnight. As a fellow mother of twins (with another on the way, no less), I am sure you are equipped with both the stamina and the patience to succeed. In reading your profile, I noticed your expertise in exercise science, which is one of my newest interests. I don't know if you have chosen your niche yet, but you have quite a few things to draw from naturally. I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with!

Thought I'd check in and see how you're going? :) This week has been slow for me, my girls are sick AGAIN so I haven't had any 'me' time... I now hate winter, I think I have only had about 4 hours sleep for the entire last 3 months. Haha I don't even remember what I was like before having my life controlled by my girls, they are gorgeous but it's tiring.

Niche wise I am targeting twins as well however am concerned because Australia doesn't have a massive yearly target audience as aprox. only 2% are multiples. I have asked kyle and I'll see what he suggests.
With regards to income, I am willing to wait, I don't need heaps but a little return for the work into the page would be nice :p Hows your blog going?

Hi Elle! Thanks so much for this message. I just saw your new blog - congratulations on getting your own domain! What a great post to read. I was going to say that you should not worry about targeting just Australia because the Internet gives you a global audience! It is a wonderful thing. Now that you own a piece of online real estate, you can speak to the worldwide population. One of mine has been sick too, and now I am a under the weather. It slowed down my momentum a bit, but I am working on building some content for my website. If I had more "me" time, I would be further along, but that is the nature of our work environment, right? Congratulations on your budding mompreneurship!

Hello Elle. I just read your profile after answering your niche question. I wondered if you were an Aussie when you replied to 'nappies' and not 'diapers'!!! I've just met another mother of twins in the last 10 minutes - sorry - I'll get you her user name in a minute.
Just wanted to say that I think you are a very brave young couple. Your husband is amazing - not all men would be so unselfish. I do wish you all the best with the carpentering and the renos (sigh!!!) and the little ones. And another on the way????!!! :-) Wow.
Just wondering if you breastfed yours and whether you'd be interested in doing a guest post on my website?
In the meantime - get your head around the set-up and training and I can't wait to see a pic of the little girls! I hope they feature in your blog!
Warmly
Ellie
