Mind your language with Google Earbuds
If you flunked your French exams at school exams, fear not, you may soon be able to speak 40 different languages.
Google has announce that new earbuds to be made available with its pixel phone will provide voice activated two way translation. The Pixel bud, on sale in the UK from November, access the Google Assist & Translate Apps.
The web giant says users will issue a voice command such as 'let me speak German' and their words will then be translated into appropriate language, and played on the phone speakers. Translated response will be heard via the earbuds. They can also be used for phone calls, and listening to music. Google Adam Champy calls them 'your own personal translator'.
The buds are limited by a five hour battery life but have not yet been tested for personal comfort or radiation level. Where will technology stop, you may ask?
Sincerely yours,
Lanu.
