A few weeks after creating my first pins on Pinterest and launching some advertisements, I tried to login and my account and website were blocked!

Hi Elef: Did you get this figured out?

Helo Alyse, no I never got any concrete explanations and my site remains blocked.

awww thats a bummer. mine too.. its suspended and website is blocked.
bottom line is why WA trains to build with organic visitors :)

Have you tried going to Pinterest's Contact Page. Under “Appeals”, click on “Pinterest blocked my site”. Then, click on “A pin from my website is blocked for spam.” Actually, all your pins on your website would be blocked for spam, but this is the closest option available.

You can also try sending email to Pinterest Creators Support:
creators-support@pinterest.com

Thank you Stanley. I have tried both of these options with no result.

Wow! Then maybe best to just create and use a new account but leave the old one there in case you get a response.

I created a new user and Pinterest account, but the website remains blocked. I tried creating a pin from the new user and got a message saying that the website has been listed as blocked... Still they do not provide me with an explanation about why. It seem s weird, as they had accepted my pins for advertising (which I also paid for)

Hi - it may not necessarily be your website. You can be banned because you began following too many people in a short space of time, or adding too many pins, too quickly.

Thank you, Diane. So what can I do? I have sent about 4 emails and get no details about what the issue is.

As with other social media platforms, they are not specific as to what the problem is. I believe you can request a review, but I assume you may have already done that. Perhaps your only option is to create another account with a different email address.

I assume you weren't adding affiliate links directly to your pins?

I created another account and this is how I found out that my website was also blocked... I contacted them through my new account and after reviewing my website I received the same general message. My website remains blocked, so this didn't help

Hello all,

I am setting up a site that will host articles on poker and free poker tutorials. Do I have to make a disclaimer, or are there any other legal issues that I s

Yes, you need that. You also need to to ensure age compliance if you are a “gambling” product affiliate.

Thank you Stanley, how can I ensure age compliance?

If you are only providing content, you can use the “adult content” rating. Then do a self declaration and disclaimer.

You do not need age verification but your affiliate vendor will probably need to do that before taking the business.

Thank you very much!

Yes you will always need a disclaimer, privacy policy and maybe terms and conditions. These are really simple to do and only take a few minutes.

Without them the search engines may not rank your articles.

Trust this helps
Martin

Thank you very much, Martin. I see in templates a disclosure template. Will it do or do I need a disclaimer also (and if so, do you know where I can find one?)

Disclosure is fine they are both very similar.

I want to create a grid of product reviews. I have installed WP Product Review Lite but it supporets only single product reviews. Should I by pro? Pro versio

Thanks for asking this helpful and useful question much appreciated

Have a great week and stay safe

From what I've been reading , 'yes' you would need the pro version of the plugin to accomplish this:

I searched around the net and also found this:
