I just finished writing an article for my website. 83 revisions!
Hello friends,
Can you believe it? Yup, that's right, 83 revisions. And that doesn't count the research. The research was already done! I finally got my AIOSEO score to 93, which I guess is OK. But I gave up trying to get my multiple images lined up. I have 4 images that I wanted to set up, 2 to a line, centered, and I just couldn't do it.
So I think it looks unprofessional, but I decided to hit the Publish button and get it out there. Maybe figure it out and fix it later.
I am still tech-unsavvy and learning has been a slow process. Which makes writing a slow process.
What do you all do when facing a problem like this? Go for it or hold off?

I don’t know anything about the techy SEO stuff but from a creative perspective, I think with too many revisions there’s a danger of losing the ‘style and essence’ of a piece. It can be difficult to judge how much of the creative part is left on the page if you are constantly checking for SEO stuff snd grammar.
Personally I couldn’t do 83 revisions, I would end up hating my own writing.
If I were you I would put it away after a few and go back to it a week later. Or ask a friend to read it, then give her a checklist of info you wanted to impart, ease of reading etc, to mark. Not for everything you write of course - I know I’d quickly run out of friends - but for those extra tricky pieces.
Good luck
You are right, it was a frustrating weekend for sure. As a beginner, I work extra hard not to sound and look like one. Hopefully, I'll get better and faster with time.
Thanks for your advice.
I might do one or two and then put it out there! I can then correct something later if it is really nagging me!

Hey
You've done well. It doesn't matter how many revisions. You've done it and that's the first of many
Well done and congratulations

I just publish and move on. Perfection is the opposite of done!
You have that right!
Thanks :-)
