Stats:Tracking traffic in new website
I published my first blog post last Tuesday and I recently added the plug in StarCounter in my WordPress to start tracking the traffic while I focus in writing content. I have been following some tips to increase traffic, such as Jaaxy keywords, but the truth is that I am mainly focused on doing research to create quality content.
To my surprised, I received the stats over email today and I was happy to find 115 Unique Visits in the past week. I understand those numbers are low, but for me is a lot since I have not being putting too much effort in promoting.
Do you suggest another plug in for tracking traffic? There is a lot I still need to do on my web page, but I am satisfied with what I have done so far.
I am open for suggestions, my website is www.wondercurves.com.
Thanks!
Elaine

hahaha, I like the tone of the site, very in your face but in a likable way. Keep up the great work!
I did not know about that plugin Elaine. Thanks for publishing this. I will install it in my website. I am curious to know a little bit more about the traffic it has right now. Blessings!

Wordpress Jetpack is about the best out there. It tells you traffic source and separates the bots from human visitors telling you how many unique visitors came to your site. The graphic reports are very in depth and can help you plan promotions based on what has already been successful for you.
