7 Days of Premium. To 4 things I have learned

After completing my first week as premium on WA, I wanted to share the 4 things I believe to be the most important lessons learned so far reading through the various lessons and resources:

1. It’s easy to get overwhelmed

Because the functions you need to be doing are just countless (or look like countless to me at the moment), You will certainly come to a point where you’ll feel overwhelmed and therefore do one of three things:

• Lose faith in the entire process and simply say (This is not for me, I’m outta here)
• Keep reading, experimenting, and just drown in endless research for details of all the different pieces (story of my life since 2009)
• Take a stand, evaluate your situation and revive your determination to succeed as an online entrepreneur (my 2014 resolution: o) )

2. It’s easy to get confused

As you go from one step to another, and as you start connecting the dots to create a clearer picture for yourself, you’ll be confused often times than not. Believe me, this happened to me over and over and over, and then over again. The need for a high level of organization skills as you approach this, is –by all means- a vital component to your success.

3 It’s not easy to balance your efforts

Whether you're new or old to this process, you may not be able to focus on the right activities at the right time. Some things will surely feel more enjoyable than others and –due to human nature- you may tend to spend more time doing things you enjoy rather than other activities. To me for example, style, design and visual effects are things I enjoy more than SEO and Keyword search. Therefore, I’m kind of trying to commit more time to keyword search and SEO activities learned here on WA until it becomes a second nature as I plan for a post or article.

4. No 1 priority is to build credibility and establish authority

Many of us fall into the trap of wanting to start earning as soon as we can. The more days that pass with no affiliate commissions hitting the bank, the more disturbed and distracted we may become. The training in WA places a great emphasis on the really important goal that you should start with and focus on all along, building credibility and authority. You are simply online to help others. This is the only way some of those
“others” will start visiting your site regularly, and eventually, give you some of those favorable clicks you’ve been long waiting for.

Therefore, my 30,000 feet advice to all fellow online entrepreneurs would be the following:

1. Take it one step at a time. Do not skip or do as I did (read the entire set of lessons first). It is a big mistake to try to jump ahead or fast forward.
2. If you want to achieve quicker success, get organized with every step. Document a lot, connect the dots and you will be gradually drawing your own blueprint for success.
3. Try to focus on the various activities according to its weight towards your online success. Do not worry if you can't figure that out easily at the beginning. If you follow 1 and 2 above, you'll also pick up the hidden knowledge of how to best balance your online efforts within your same limited number of hours every day.
4. Make "Helping People" your main target. Start with a real problem that your site can address and think your way past the problem towards all the different solutions you can offer as the logical starting point. Hopefully, the solutions you think of will be the building blocks for your site, blog posts, and all your future online contributions.
