Hey, WA topguns!

Below is an important takeaway lesson for you from this year Super Bowl and its superstar Tom Brady.

Those of you who follow American Football, know the Super Bowl LI (2017) had a stunning ending, to say the least. The New England Patriots who started the game with an awfully painful 0-21 score, and in one point were trailing 28-3 (the point where president Trump called it a day and left), Patriots, by sheer willpower, still managed to turn the tables and win the game.

Jaw-dropping!

For Tom Brady, the quarterback of the New England Patriots, it was his fifth Super Bowl ring. Now he is not only hailed as the greatest QB of all time, but as the greatest american footballer of all time.

This is just to give you some background and perspective, though. Because this not what I wanted to write here today.

There is something else in Tom Brady's life that he probably wishes, it were not there. But it is and he cannot erase it. At least, it's not an easy task.

What is it?

The Deflategate.

The Deflategate was a NFL controversy involving the allegation that the New England Patriots deliberately under-inflated footballs used in the AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts on January 18, 2015.

Patriots' employees intentionally defleated eleven of the twelve balls used in that game - to give Tom Brady a competitive advantage.

This too is to give you perspective.

Now here's the lesson to be learned, in the words of Warren Buffett:

"It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you'll do things differently."

Tom Brady plays in NFL since 2000. It's been 16 long years to build up his reputation. And now he is considered as the all time best. But because of that ugly Deflategate in 2015, there are still hordes who consider him as cheater and show no respect to him anymore.

And even after the stunning Super Bowl victory last Sunday, they keep touting the Deflategate.

It is true that both NFL and Tom Brady want to kill Deflategate for good but it's not that easy.

Therefore, dear WA topgun, as a blogger, cherish and protect your integrity and your reputation. Because it's all about trust.

Read again what Warren Buffett has said:

"It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you'll do things differently."

Finally, I collected some of the best Tom Brady quotes into this post here. I handpicked these quotes with bloggers and internet marketers in mind. To motivate you push toward your goals.
