Time Management, planning and Prioritizing your time.

So am working full time and am really excited about my online business. I feel like it is the only thing that will get me out of this slavery called a Job. but i can't balance my time.

I have always been poor at time keeping and when my friends talk about time, I would almost have no contribution. Now it turns out that it is a problem I have to solve and in my journey to solve my problem, I have come to understand that setting effective goals is the only way to go.

I have discovered that effective goals indeed have certain characteristics that can help with the time management problem. These goals are usually specific and more useful than those that are vague. Such goals are attainable and realistic ,they are time-bound in other words have a deadline attached to them.

Simply put, these goals are SMART meaning that they are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time bound. Now my new goal is to make it to Vegas. I am not looking at the money because if i made it to Vegas, the money will be earned anyway. Am a true believer in incentives and whenever there is an incentive, I work so hard to get it. While I work so hard for the incentive, I find that I am building a big business and in the mean time am having lots of fun and am so focused on the figures that I am getting into WA and hence achieving my goal.

So for me to get the 300 people to join WA, I broke down my goal into small tasks. Tasks can be discouraging unless you break them down into more manageable activities. So I have decided from today that I will work with numbers. Every day I talk to ten people about WA and send them the link. Out of the ten, 3 will check the link and one will choose to sign up as a free starter member and with the information that they get, I am so confident that sooner or later, they will join in as premium members. In order for me to talk to the ten people, I would use facebook but am still failing to share on facebook but anyways that doesn't stop me. I have resorted to send out 10 emails every morning such that I give them time to read through and later on in the day, I check and ask if they have liked the opportunity. I already have one referral signed up and will hopefully have another soon.Right now, I do my job and also manage my WA business. It is very exciting and I feel that if it can work for me a poor time manager, it could work for you as well.

You could try my strategy out and you never know, it just might work for you.

Well said, Edith. You will make it happen.

When sharing on Facebook, it's best to share a link that points to your own website (not an affiliate link).

For example, add a link to your own website in the FB status bar, pointing to one of your posts, for example, your WA Review, etc and write something like - 'Want to build an online business - check out my review of the training program that is showing me step by step how to achieve success onine " - or something along those lines.

That way people can visit your website (good for site traffic) and in turn your website will have the relevant affiliate link should they be interested in checking it out further.

FB does not like direct affiliate links and from time to time will block them. ~Jude

You have great goals Edith, I love your ambition. :)

Nice goal. I will be glad to meet you in Vegas :)

am so glad that I have finally been able to do my first blog...
