I missed it by $84k

Here's proof that setting precise goals, that are heartfelt with a stretch, do work!

The second quarter of this year 2020 was a crazy time with so much confusion and panic felt throught out the world.

My response was the opposite!

I saw a big challenge with a HUGE opportunity and I remember going live on as many social media channels talking about how I was not going to miss this wave like I did back in 2008.

The last quarter of this year 2020, I decided to break records and one of them was to support whole heartly the company I work for and bring in a total reveneu of $200,000 in 3 months (that's from October to December - the last quarter of the year).

The result was $116K in revenue!

Can I tell you that this was my first time ever in my life to make that much money in 3 months. And can I also share with you that when I was writing down my quartly goals, this 200k number was a far out there goal that I was a bit scare that I wasn't going to reach it.

Yes, I can see that I did not reach my goal BUT this goal stretched my talent and got me to become creative with laser focus work so that I could reach it. And as a result I made $116,000 in just 3 months.

Can you imagine if I would written my usual goal to make $10,000 in revenue. I problaby wouldn't reach it or worse I would of reach it but limiting my full potential to make over $100K.

Wow!

So what's the lesson that I've learned:

#1 - Go big and make my goals a big stretch to reach because even if I hit 58% of my goal, it will encourage me to keep setting bigger goals.

#2 - WRITE IT DOWN on paper, always!

#3 - And make it a story instead of a list. Let me explain: writing down a couple of paragraphs as if it already happened with details and emotions that help me connect with reaching the goal.

By the way, in case you're wondering, I didn't just write down in my paragraphs just to make money. I actually wrote down goals to reach in my personal and family areas of my life. And I can tell you I met every one of those goals at 100% results.

So, this is a good time to write down what you can reach.

I've already written down a few pages for my 3 years vision, 1 year vision and of course my 1st quarte of the year 2021 vision. And guess what?... I've written down the plan of action to reach $190,000 in revenue.
