Don't expect results with this attitude
I remember when I decided that the online business world was for me. And like you, I wanted to leave my job for the option to work from home. This was back in 2008 and I've learned so much by many mistakes I made.
I will give you 3 things that will save you a lot of frustration and disappointment.
#1 - take your time through the training program and don't expect to be perfect on your first round. The hardest part for me was finding a niche to serve. This was because I didn't like market research and I got caught up with all the hype about making money online. The simple thing to do for me was to realize that my market has problems they want to solve, I just needed to find them and listen so that I can solved them. Online groups, forums and WA training helps you along the way with this.
#2 - renew the way you think about online entrepreneurship. read books and stay engaged in this community. I was so distracted with the shiny object syndrome. My frustrartion of not reaching fast enough this online entreprenurship lifestyle, made me look over to so many other program that I wasted more time and a whole lot money. The best thing for me to do was to find a community of like minded people and I was lucky enough to also find mentors along the way. There were 2 books that also helped me so much: The EMyth Revisited by Michael Gerber and Cashvertising by Drew Whitman.
#3 - give yourself plenty of time to unlearned what you know and build a solid foundation. I'm not going to lie here... I wanted super fast results. I remember giving myself a year to quit my job and work from home. Well, that year turned into 10 years with alot of frustration, disapointment and overwhelm.
Look I'm not saying you have to spend 10 years to get results. You'll find plenty of folks in this community that have reach their goals in less time.
BUT what I am saying is to give yourself some slack to learn the business, do the training, make some mistakes, learn from your mistakes, ask questions and most important learn the mindset of an online entrepreneur.
The difference between a WINNER and a loser is that WINNERS never quit. A winner will keep doing and doing and doing and doing until goal is reached. The winner never looks at how long it takes but looks back at how much he/she has learned. The winner will work hard even if it takes 10 years, 20 years. 30 years or whatever it takes to WIN.

I recognize a lot of what you say. I started in 2006 and thought it would be a smooth journey with quick wins and an ever-growing business. But until today after many courses and disappointments, I have not reached a level of profitability yet. But........ there are sales which means I have reached a milestone that I did not have before. Every year I learned more and more, partly by teachings I followed and the rest by trying and failing. And I will not stop until I reach the goals set. My takeaway is that the learning curve is long for most of us. It goes much slower than we anticipate listening to all the Internet Marketing gurus. It is an exception if you get a quick profit. Most of us have a long learning curve, thus you need stamina and perseverance to finally get where you want to be.
Wow! thanks for your transparency. You're truly a winner and I congratulate you for not giving up. Stay motivated by your passion!
