Pure bred vs. Mixed breed
Let's see if I can get a count of how many people here have mixed breed dogs, as opposed to pure bred dogs. Names of the pets are optional, but, if you know the breed, just fill us in! Eager to see what we have out here. Most of you, that answered my previous blog, told me the breed. Just some fun things to ask to help with my research! Thanks again, friends!

A pure bred chocolate Labrador.
Typical Labrador - very friendly, will do anything for food, therefore easy to train. Not so easy to keep her weight down.
I don't use 'diet' foods, but I use fairly good quality, I think, senior food - plus 'human' fish, chicken and rice. Yes, she is spayed, but is getting old. She is 10 and a half now.
Getting up there for a workout. Senior food is good for them. I mentioned the "diet" food because so many people recommend it, but it actually can make them gain weight. I had a good food I fed there, but I can't get it now. Diamond Naturals, Lamb and rice. They sell it at Tractore supply, I think?
Full bred beagle (amber) full bred. Pit bull (I know that's not the name of a breed but more like a generalization of multiple breeds I just forget which one he is) jupiter
Do you know why they have white tips on their tails? (Beagles) So when they run off on a scent, you can find them days later! :)
I have 1 mixed breed dog! He is mostly Border Collie, and I am thinking Golden Retriever.
Hello, I have one dog currently he is Queensland Heeler(His daddy) and Mini Australian Shepard(mommy), best dog ever. I grew up with purebred St Bernards, (and no, he was not a slobbery one)

I have a pure breed small poodle. I don't think he is very smart though. He is at the end of his term, just keeping track of how he is.
My son always has a mixed breed and his dogs have been very smart.

Purebred cocker that I wrote to you about and a mainly Shih Tzu -- he seems mixed with something, but I'm not sure what.
