You can also empty the servers cache.

You can continue with your editing, and once complete, publish it to your website.
(If you edited a document in the site content and published it, future edits must be done in WordPress. Site content and WordPress work independently.
I'd place my images in a document in the site content and publish it to my site. It will be added to my WordPress media library. Then delete the "temporary image" doc in the site content so it does not get indexed.)

@TheAbiePPlus thank you very much for such a detailed rescue to me a newbie. I'm sure I can get back on track now.
Hey @TheAbiePPlus I guess you are enjoying the Season. Its been great meeting family and feasting too.
I have one more question.
Is there a template for Privacy Policy which I can access to edit the one I messed up? I followed the string:
Websites > Site Manager > Details > Sitespeed > Empty site cache
to empty the site cache. Now I need a Privacy Policy template to generate a correct Policy.
You'd find one here

And thank you for your kindness, Ernest :)
You can edit the outline or paste the edit post over the outline in your back office. just select all of the outline text delete and that copy and paste the edited version and the click the publish button

Hi Ernest, great to hear you're making progress. There are some great answers here to your question but I wanted to follow up to see if you were able to get everything resolved. Let me know if you have further questions :-)
Hi @ J-KWest. Seasons' greetings man. I am getting there. I nearly published a review, but whilst double checking I realized there is something I must change first. I get excited after completing a task, but I am learning to follow the procedure. Its been a festive season punctuated with social family gatherings with a bit of travelling. It disrupts my online activity though. I guess the 'chaos' is a new type of order for me to manage.
Hey Earnest, Seasons' Greetings to you as well. You're definitely not alone. I've been juggling work here with family get-togethers over the last few days as well.
Finding your rhythm and developing workflows is part of the journey we talk about, and it's often the most challenging because it takes trial, error, and patience.
I remember when I first started online and still working full-time. All I wanted to do and all I could think about was my online business, but I had to stick that in the back of my mind, sometimes for weeks at a time because I was working long shifts up north and living in camps.
I'd come home for a few days and do as much as I could, then it was back to camp. It was a different kind of chaos but as you mention, also disruptive to my online activity.
It's great to hear you're making progress and publishing. That process becomes a lot easier and you can always make changes to your posts after they've been published (inside the WordPress editor).
Anyway, thanks for touching base and look forward to hearing how you're doing. Keep in touch :-)
