Where Do You Seek Your Training & Knowledge? Could You Be Missing A Trick?

I have been learning a little more today about how I am going to progress aolong the pathway to success through the training and the staggeringly vast number of resources here.

Now I should add that I am not progressing nearly as fast as I could but as I keep advising new people here, touch your business everyday even when that business exists only as a bank of knowledge that is growing exponentially inside your mind and don't force it.

I believe that although the process requires learning, effort and determined tenacity it should also be FUN!

I am certain that some may disagree with that final factor in part, BUT if we are to remain constantly engaged with the process and actively seeking growth no matter how seemingly small and insignificane every single day, then we must ensure it does not become a grind.

The majority of us, I have determined from my engagement here so far are trying to build this extra stream of income alongside our day job. Now I would dare to suggest quite comfortably that the last thig any of us need is a 'second' job that drains us and becomes a figure of dread in our life.

No! This MUST be something far more empowering, a venture that draws us in to further our position and (for me at least) needs to be a project that on some level encapsulates all our hopes, goals and dreams within the work.

When I work on building my business I want to feel a ripple of electricity in the process, that feeling that I am boldyly fashioning the conduit to my brighter future, my ideal life. I 'want to want' to build n previous action and KNOW that I am inching ever forward to those aforementiond and oh-so-important goals.

I use the word 'inching' very deliberately for all but the incredibly lucky few who stumble in to ridiculously rapid success and income due in part to some factor that they did not foresee this is not going to be an overnight success!

We need to embrace, accept and deal with that 'inconvenient truth' from day one or risk not being here for the lap of honour and the embarrassing victory dance, for we will simply not muster up enough resilience to see us through the tougher times without that tempered expectancy.

That was a heck of a lot of words to basically get me off the hook and make my excuses for not progressing faster, right :D

So where am I going with this line of reasoning, I hear you cry, Dear Reader?

Oh please don't ask me that, I just aim my fingers at the keyboard and see what happens, I have no more idea than you what I am gonna come out with next...

Well that brings me back to exactly where I came in... I have been spending time increasing my learning over the last couple of days. So yes of course I utilised all of the traditional avenues, but something else is helping me to stack my knowledge too...

If we have met already, you have probably realised by now I am an 'engager' I make no apology, I love community, I love engagement and I LOVE people and their unique and diverse stories, cultures and backgrounds.

So as you can well imagine I spend a LOT of time reading blogs, bios and the random musings that fall out of peoples heads and on to the page. I should mention too that I am an avid reader and also that I read incredibly fast too so I get through a tonne of information.

Now of course the blogs I read are sometimes on day one of somebody arriving here and sometimes an account of day 2000+ and it's various learning's, stories and experiences.

Top tip if somebody has been here for a mountain of time and appears to be super-successful and makes it all look completely efforltess as though it is oh-so-easy for them... Scroll back to their earliest blog-posts.

Often you will find that they had exactly the same fears, apprehensions and doubts that somebody who joined an hour ago has when they were fresh through the door.

This should be MASSIVELY heartening because it can quell that little voice inside that tells us we cannot do it, we are not as smart, technical or charismatic as them. In a sense, utilising this strategy I have outlined, we can read through their blogs from then to the current tme and almost cherry pick the learnings and revelations they had along the way...

It's almost like reverse engineering yourself a blueprint to success.

Let me reiterate something that you already know and should be patently obvious to any of us.

Nobody has ever climbed to any rank of authority, expert status or proficiency in any field whatsoever without having to tackle fear and doubt head-on, without having to wade through challenges and factors that could have ended their journey if they had chosen to let it, or if they had crumbled and capitulated at the first sign of a bump in the road.

The real crux of my point is simply this, the blogs that detail a persons journey to seemingly 'overnight success' can be incredibly enlightening, informative and help us achieve 'social proof' and 'proof of concept' before we have our ow successes and victories to draw from.

Over these past couple of day I have ALSO learned some massive tips and short-cuts, that people stumbled across from initially doing things the wrong way. I have picked up a few strategies that intrigue me about keyword ranking, social media monetisation and many other topics that were afterthoughts in the middle of somebody's post.

Let's get something straight right here, right now... This is in no way cheating or unethical or 'copying', it does not make your journey any less authentic.

It is my sincere belief that the people who write blog-posts here are the engagers and the most community minded among us. It is my firm belief that they would be 'thrilled' to know their journey, mistakes and learnings helped others to plot their own course, or even to 'stay in the game' sometimes years after they outlined it.

You WILL get sick and tired of me saying it eventually as I mention it in comments, replies and blog-posts constantly but I sincerely believe that together we are just better, we are almost a hive of collective, leared and shared knowledge that is for the use and benefit and betterment of ALL OF US!

So here is my only caveat about using other people journey as a stick to lean on as you traverse the rockier terrains of affiliate marketing and online busness.

When you make it, when you progress along the road to success when you ave a victory, make a mistake or discover a shortcut...

Add YOUR voice to the collective narrative of experience here.
Add your thoughts and experiences to the exponentially expanding bank of knowledge.
Lay things out in plain sight for the brand new people to find.

'Pass it on, pay it forward and pay it back...'

To your massive and impending success as we bravely stride in to 2020 togeter, never EVER forget that...

"Together we are just better!"

Wonderful post as usual Steve!

Florentino, thank-you very much it is always awesome to see you.

You are such an engager, I love it, I notice how many of the brand new people you greet to.

That rocks!

Have a fabulous Sunday my friend :)

Yes, it is important to let them feel very much welcome o as to nurture the good vibes and encourage them to go all the way to their goals. If I could do that for one person, That would be worth it. The more you give the more you get. Not that I do this for that! Because if it is not in you can't last long doing it!

I believe you can too, though!

Have a fabulous Sunday and the rest of the Christmas season!

Collective thinking and sharing knowledge is really the common denominator to success. Often those who work alone are most afraid of failure, give up, or are distracted by other shiny objects. As we all age the collective thinking while using connection becomes more important not only for business but for life in general.

Cheers,

Mike

Yes I agree with that sentiment massively.

I often wonder at the result we would see if politicians, scientists, business leaders and the general public ACTUALLY worked together to create a bank of knowledge and shared opinions on how to solve the ills of society.

Operating in a vacuum / echo chamber exposes us to one kind of thinking only.

Take care my friend and have a great Sunday :)

I could never make my mind up, as to whether Odo had the better deal or Seven of Nine. The 'Great Link' or the 'Hive Mind'. Either would be quite daunting. Here we have the best of all worlds as we can dip in and out whenever we please. The cumulative knowledge that is on 'tap' is quite astounding. Drink heartliy from the cup.

Oh man! You chose EXACTLY the right place to drop that reference!!! *giggles like a schoolgirl*

Although to be fair, Hugh did pretty good after he gained his autonomy.

Although I love Odo and his never ending search for belonging, I'm not a great swimmer and the great link did look a tad like swimming through mercury, ((I read somewhere that is not entirely healthy.))

Hive mind it is then, I hope I achieve the rank of at-least tertiary adjunct 2 within the community.

Hmm now I am wondering if going premium is akin to assimilation???

I ramble as ever my friend I do apologize, I just mean to say yup, the community is stunning in it's reciprocity, knowledge and support, I just think it's better when...

'Together we all create kindness', right ;)

Great to see you again, thanks for stopping by :)

My pleasure. That line at the end looks like a good one, I might have to borrow that.
2020 will be 'peachy' with the all new 'Picard' and another dose of 'Discovery'

Oh yes borrow away my friend, we can discuss royalties in the new year ;)

Yes indeed I was thinking of Picard when I wrote the 'Hugh' reference as I hear he plays a part, intrigued and excited for that. Disovery, I cannot wait, I need a new dose of Saru, Tilly and hopefully Phillipa.

Have a wonderful Sunday :)

Fantastic post Steve! We ARE all a collective!

Jeff

Thanks man! That fact is becoming more apparent by the day, sorry make that by the HOUR!!!

I love it!

Take good care Jeff :)

You too, Steve! Have a GREAT weekend!

Jeff

Excellent post. Here's to a successful 2020🥂

Thank you ever so much.

Oh that sounds like a great plan Mickey! I would add one caveat, we drag along as many other people as we can ((even if they are kickin' and screamin')) The more of us hitting the success train the sweeter it will be :)

Take great care, thanks for stopping by my friend :)
