The Disconcerting Truth About Me & WA! Finally Taking The Leap And Making My Very First Blogpost
First up, 'full disclosure' this is not my first rodeo. What I mean to say, ((I am a rambling British buffoon who is far too wordy for his own good)) I have been here before. WA I mean.
It was three years ago and I became a premium member almost immediately and proceeded to make a car crash of the experience. Here's the thing though, I moved on to the next shiny object that grabbed my attention and had mixed memories of my time here.
You see hindsight is a strange thing, it does not always remember events and experiences with anywhere near as much clarity as we may believe. Let me explain, although I never ever said to anyone that WA does not work, how could I? There are a multitude of stories and case studies that prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that... Uhm...
IT clearly DOES!
I was still left wondering why it did not work for ME?
One day recently when I was reassessing my lot in life and pondering where I had been and where I was heading, it hit me like a bolt of lightning!
It wasn't the system that didn't work, it was ME!
Well as you can well imagine, this revelation was a little disconcerting to say the least. Often we do not gaze upon our own efforts and endeavors with nearly enough of a critical eye and often miss that sharp focus we employ when viewing others.
BUT, this discovery was incredibly liberating and freed me from that disempowering feeling that I had given it my best shot and it just wasn't meant to be. It was a learning that I found refreshing and one that renewed my vigour.
Why liberating? You may ask.
Well Dear Reader, shuffle closer and allow me to explain. If it was this very platform that didn't work, if it was the community, the tools, the current economic conditions that would be simple. If the government's position on home based enterprise or entrepreneurship was the issue I would be off the hook.
I am incapable of changing all those extraneous factors that affect my likelihood of success, right?
However if I am the one who needs to change, adapt and evolve in my approach, that is BLOODY AWESOME! It just so happens that I am the one thing over which I have complete control. The one unknown quantity in the life vs success quandary I have the unquestionable ability to affect is I.
This means that my present and my future are up to me and me alone, although that implies that my ((not entirely satisfactory)) past was always in my own hands too, this may be a less empowering, slightly bitter pill to swallow. The most important thing of course is to always face up to reality, so bruised egos matter not a jot.
I have the future and success firmly set in my sights and I state here loud, proud and free of any confusion that
I AM willing to do what it takes to succeed.
I AM ready to follow the plan and hold myself constantly accountable.
I AM going to ask myself almost daily, 'am I on course and am I doing what I said I would do?'
I AM going to make myself proud of the man I become in the process.
I AM going to have fun and ENJOY the journey.
Thank YOU WA for the Black Friday deal, I am now going to here, using far more words than could ever be necessary for a whole year!
Looking forward to 2020 massively. I hope to help others reach their goals too, be it through motivation and support or sharing my new-found skills as they materialise. The very best journeys are those we undertake with friends we meet along the way.

You can do it Steve. Since everything is here to help us succeed we have only ourselves to blame if we don't.
It's a bit like baking a cake. If the right instructions are followed we get a delicious cake. If we mess up the recipe or the process, we have a mess on our hands.
Unlike a cake, the recipe for creating a successful business is not easy. It takes learning, putting what we learn into action, making the right choices and many things more. But all of that is right here.
I'd like to share one basic lesson I learned. If you want to succeed faster, you need to chose a less competitive niche. If the niche you are passionate about is highly competitive, then it will take longer to succeed. But succeed you will once you recognize that fact.
The same goes into other decisions we make. For example, some like to dive into multiple social media platforms thinking more is better. I have been told by experts that it is better to become an expert in one and make that work rather than selecting several and being mediocre at all of them.
I think you can get my point. This time around I wish you all the success in the world.
