Why Not Do Some Social Sharing When Giving Website Comments For The Give and Take

I'm sure many of you do this already, or do it occasionally, but I just did it for the first time and MAN, did it ever feel good. What am I talking about? Well, if you've gone in to give some website feedback for someone and the site is established enough already to have social sharing links available for you to use, SHARE the site/page with someone you know might be interested! It only takes a minute and continues to build the collegiality, community, and cooperation that WA is known for. :) I was reviewing a quilting website that I won't name here because of WA rules, and I thought, "HEY! My in-laws are quilters. I should share it with them!" So, I simply pressed the Facebook share button, typed in my sister-in-law's name and said in a Facebook post, "Hey, sister-in-law, I saw this and thought you might like it." Done. Short, sweet, and oh-so helpful!

So, the next time you are helping someone out by leaving an awesome comment right on their website (which helps them to rank higher in Google, for those of you who are newer here than I am) give the site a social share, or two, or three while you are at it. The site is about cars? Share it with someone in your circle who likes cars. Natural healing? Ditto. Organics? You bet. Worm Composting? Oh ya. Homemade jewellery? Figure out WHO in your social circles likes that and just share it with them. It doesn't matter if they actually check out the site (though wouldn't it be GREAT if they all did?) but just by sharing it, you help the owner of the site to achieve higher rankings in Google. And, you show the person with whom you shared it that you are thinking about them. :)

And as everyone knows, what goes around, comes around.

On a side note, I AM PLANTING MY GARDEN TOMORROW! YIPPEE!

Nighty Night.

Hi Dianne, Good point. I always do that. If it fit on any of my FB-pages, I share, it always fit on my Pinterest boards, and I always share to G+. And you are right, we are here to help eachother, and sharing is an excellent way to help out fellow Wa'ers :-)
