30 Hour Challenge - Step 1
Hello Folks - it's 10:05 on Monday 15th October 2018 and I'm starting my 30 hour challenge.
11.01am and stop
Ok, so my 1st hour is done and what have I achieved:
1) I found a market on Amazon that sells and when I drilled down into the market I found a sub-niche that had 7 sub-sub-niches.
2) I created a siterubix site using the sub-niche's title which means that I have a EMD (Exact Match Domain) - could be useful for SEO purposes but not as much as it used to be.
3) I chose a theme I was confident in using and changed to that theme once my site was accessible.
3) I found a good header image on pixabay dot com that is niche aware i.e. when you see it with the site's title you know immediately what the site is about (I hope) and resized it for use as a header image
4) I created 3 'legal' pages for the site: Affiliate Disclosure, Privacy Policy and a About page and I then contructed a page called 'Legal Pages' and created links to each of those pages within that 'Legal Pages' tab
5) I used the sub-sub-niches to create the site's categories and I then used those categories as the Main Menu navigation.
Right now I have a website that is ready to be populated with content.
The content is going to be comprised of 'best of'' listing style of information based on Amazon's average customer review algorithm - using the idea that a customer review is written once every 150 purchases (on average) - so a product with 2000 customer reviews could have been purchased over 300,000 times.
The next step will be obtaining images of each product in each category that can be placed into each post. I will probably use Amazon's images themselves and, seeing as I am not an Amazon Associate yet (having cancelled my affiliate status a month ago ready to start again) I need to ger the content up as soon as I can so I can show them what I have ready to promote their product - hopefully they'll stamp my approval quickly and I can start promoting.
