Setup Google Analytics and was pleasantly surprised!
Just yesterday I finally got to the step in the training where I had to setup Google analytics and as anyone would be, I was super excited to get to finally track my data after a couple of months of work.
At first I wasn't expecting any traffic at all: 2 or 3 visitors at max so I slowly set it up, going through all the steps, configuring all the settings in Wordpress and finally updated by analytics so it synced up with my website.
To my surprise after a day on adsense (seeing the daily reports), I saw 12 visitors in one evening! Sure it doesn't sound like a lot but I was so happy to see at least some people are taking a look at my website and clicking on some of my links.
It made me even happier that I was a diverse audience as well from Europe, America and Africa!
I am happy I'm finally seeing some progress from this and I'm now more motivated to go on to introduce more visitors through creating more meaningful content and going onto the social media part of the training!

Awesome! Don't fixate too much on number yet. It is good to see the traffic though and go through the demographics.
