Block and remove. Anything that demands money or bank details is generally a scam. Try to avoid opening the links because they can put spyware onto your computer.
Sorry to hear that you received these stupid scam emails! Be sure not to even open the emails and delete them straight away because they have ways to know if you open the emails or not.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks...spammed and deleted. I just hope that others aren't tricked by these lowlife scammers.
Have a great day,
Jane
Yea just another scam had a couple similar to that in the past just mark it as spam and then delete and don't respond or click any links as that is what they are hoping for.

Hi Andre, good to hear from you! Thanks for replying. Yep, was pretty sure it was a scam. Now spammed and deleted! Have a great day, Jane xx

Hey Jane,
I used to get those all of the time. When I first received one, I contacted my web hosting provider and they told me that it is a scam.
Now, I collect the IP addresses from such frauds and report them to: https://www.abuseipdb.com/ and so far so good. No more abusing my email address.
Here's a brief video to show you how to find the scammer's IP address: How to Determine if an Email is Spam Hope you find this helpful.
Hi Trish,
Thanks for this, really helpful links. Will definitely report any future scam mails.
Hope all's good with you. Have a great day,
Jane.

Hi guys,
Is anyone else having issues with this plugin? Since the update last week, the pop up isn't going away after clicking on the "accept"button.
Thanks, Jane
you may want to check out this link.
gdpr-plugin.readthedocs.io/en/latest/issues/issues.html.
They are saying the issue may be related to a caching problem.
I'd reach out to their forums | support on the WordPress site.
You can always undo, install and activate the newer version. That's plugins tab of your WordPress sites back office and add new.
I hope you are able to figure it out.
You can try this one, GDPR Cookie Consent plugin.
However, I hope you are able to figure it out.

Hi everyone,
Is is possible to move the author details from the beginning of a post to the end? I'm using Generate Press.
Thanks in advance,

Hi
Below resource suggesting simple author box plugin
https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/show-author-biography-after-post/
Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I'll take a look at the link but I was hoping there was a way around without adding another plugin.
I'll take a look though and see where it leads me!
Appreciate your help,
Jane.
Hey Jane,
GeneratePress is SO great with their information that most times, when you Google search for anything you want to do with their theme, chances are, you'll discover someone already put in a ticket to the developer and a solution has been found.
Example... see screen print below...
If you cannot find what you are looking for, then simply submitting a ticket to the developer, you will gain help from someone knowledgeable enough to solve your issue.
Leastwise... that's why I've come to LOVE this theme.
Hope you find this helpful.
Thanks for that Trish...I came across something similar and am working through it. Haven't resolved the issue yet but still trying.
Appreciate your response.
Have a great day / night.
Jane

is it possible..almost anything is possible ...
Hi Phil...saw I had a reply from you and breathed a sigh of relief! Was getting bogged down with removing author docs and getting nowhere. I'll take a look at the link you sent.
Is it easy...am I a coder and do I know how....the answer is not yet!
And I agree, anything is possible.
Great to hear from you. Will let you know how I get on.
Jane
Hey Phil,
Am unable to action through the link you sent. Messge saying "markup is not allowed in CSS." But thanks again for your response.
I think I'll either have to use a plugin or go premium if that doesn't work.
Thanks again for your help,
Jane.
it does say that you need to use code widgets plugin ...no disadvantage of using it ... once the code is on the site then it is there...
easier than creating a child theme....
Hey
I would look in their documentation

Please reach out if you need help or a hand.
Wishing you well, continued success and a terrific day.
Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me. I've looked through these docs before but there's so much info...was hoping for an easier way round. I'll check out Abie's link - hopefully that will save some time.
Have a great day too,

Hey Jane,
Asking Google your question (with additional info added)... see screen print below...
This too to be a great way to make Google happy.
However, if a post is outdated, I would sooner remove it and add a redirect for the post(s) (which Google likes too) I remove due to being outdated, as this seems to be a better method for keeping a website up to date as well as, lean and mean for loading when visitors arrive.
Hope you find this helpful.
Hi Trish,
Thanks for your response. I agree with the lean and mean approach. I'll just create a 301 whenever I archive.
Hope all's good with you.
Jane.
Hey Jane,
You may have misunderstood me. By lean and mean, I was referring to deleting old posts and adding a redirect, not archiving.
Hope this makes sense.

Hi
I believe as it is still found in your WordPress back office, you would not get a 404 error.
This is what I found on the web
The typical trigger for an error 404 message is when website content has been removed or moved to another URL. There are also other reasons why an error message could appear. These include: The URL or its content (such as files or images) was either deleted or moved (without adjusting any internal links accordingly
I hope this helps
Hi,
I'm still unclear what message would appear for visitors / possible SEO implications so I'll keep looking but thanks for your response,
Jane.
Hi
It will stop appearing in the front-end but still can be found in your WordPress sites back office.
Yes I understand that but my question is what happens when someone searches for that post? Does it show a 404 error? Thanks.
Right you may want to pass this by site support

Hi, 301's are used to move some posts onto new URL's
You would need wait up to 30 days (Kyle's recommendation) for 301 redirects to be completed and for the search engines. They are same feature as the move button available with the site manger however that feature if you were to move a whole site over. Would think principle remains same.
So in answer to your question it is a yes, they are SEO friendly.
Hi,
Thanks for your response...appreciate your input once again. Have a great weekend,
