Do You Know Where You Fail In Your Marketing Strategy?

Let me ask you a question. With so much noise on the internet, what do you think is the number one reason for failure to succeed at internet marketing is?

Let me answer that question for you. It is a confused mind. When your prospect has a confused mind. Nine times out of ten they will say NO to your offer.

The internet is like a pack of wolves in a feeding frenzy. So a great marketing system requires very targeted and effective marketing.

I have been a sales for most of my adult life and this is one thing that I have learned and I hope it helps you out.

Many trainers have used this analogy so I won’t try and give credit. The analogy is this ……..” Nobody who bought a drill actually wanted a drill…… they wanted a HOLE.

So therefore, if you want to sell drills, you need to advertise information about making holes NOT information about drills.

Think about that statement for a minute and let me ask you another question.

Are you promoting the drill or the hole?

If you are not sure, here’s a hint. Wealthy Affiliate is the drill. What Wealthy Affiliate offers is the hole. For example:

• Hosting: No place else has the value like Wealthy Affiliate
• Website creation
• Domain research
• Keyword research
• Etc. Etc.

The key point is this- Effective marketing is the ability to educate people on how their greatest needs ( their hole), can be filled with Wealthy Affiliate( your drill) and then motivate them to take action.

Here is my definition of “ Effective Marketing”.

• Educate your prospects before you sell them
• Your focus needs to be on their “hole” not your drill
• Show the connection how your drill (Wealthy Affiliate) fills their hole
• Get them to take action

The focus needs to be on their hole not your drill.. It is all about them.
