Big Hat-No Cattle
Been away from here for a little while exploring some other income options. Referred to an opportunity "Get Paid Social" created by Jeff Long. It presented as a ground floor opportunity with exciting potential. The idea is to perform some small tasks for some small rewards, for example, visit a website, share a post on Facebook, etc.
I actively advertised the opportunity, participated in a pool of advertisers for a chance to pick up an occasional signee not otherwise affiliated, you know the drill. I did not drop a lot of money on advertising but I did pay for a lifetime membership, which was more than $100.00 Not going to break me but still more than $100.00.
In the beginning, I ran into a great deal of difficulty getting the task system to work properly. I wrote to tech support. I got no response initially but later did get a response that they were working on things.
As time went on the availability of tasks was minimal. There were promises of additional income opportunities through surveys.I was screened out of many as a middle aged caucasian (or maybe because of my location, or my income hell I do not know why but often after I inserted my age and ethnicity I was excluded). Of the ones that I did participate in, I often spent 10-15 minutes answering a hundred questions BEFORE I was told that I did not qualify.
I received several updates from the founder, Mr. Long that they were working on problems, that they were ready to pay out monies, that there were new income opportunities coming, blah, blah blah.
NOW, I am receiving promo materials for a NEW AND EXCITING OPPORTUNITY WHICH SOLVES THE PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH GET PAID SOCIAL. This new opportunity is being brought to us by......wait for it.....Jeff Long. MOMA is the name.My Online Marketing Agency.
It looks to be the EXACT Business model as Get Paid Social.
SOOOOOOOOO rather than fix the problems with GPS, it appears that Mr. Long instead starts a new one and wants to sign everyone up again.
I AIN'T PLAYIN THIS TIME.
I do not wish for this to be perceived as an indictment of Mr. Long or MLM or online businesses in general, but rather an invitation to thoroughly investigate the business opportunity and founders in advance. Do your due diligence.

Some of the names come up over and over with a new logo and a new slant. Keeps you on your toes, don't it?
Thanks for the heads up, although I now I have a strict policy.....

Thank you for this Dusty. Puts WA in such a great light knowing we are getting many services for our money. WA is not sold as just an opportunity with no substance, there really is opportunity here.
Many of the so-called biz ops have a lot of fluff and little stuff. The only real money makers are the creators.
