First Blog Post
It's not a big post, but I posted my first blog post today on my personal development website.
Starting with this week I decided I would commit to working on my blogs at set times each day (7am-11:30am) NO MATTER WHAT before focusing the rest of my day on homemaking duties, my kids, and my job.
The problem is, I tend to trail off into online never never land. I'm still working on the initial course of WA checking out other sites in the same niche and ended up getting sucked into reading lots of personal development articles.
There went my dedicated 4 hours (I leave 30 minutes open for serving, eating breakfast and other little things that need to be done in the morning.) I was very disappointed. Like usual, I felt like I didn't know where that 4 hours went.
It got me to thinking about how there's just never enough time.
And I heard this voice from a coaching session, "I hear you telling yourself how hard it all is, how bad it is, how you don't have enough time...." Yes, I was telling myself these things, I was believing these things and following those beliefs continuously.
Today I had also run across some articles and videos about beliefs and I started making connections.
I learned that we sometimes forget that we are the creators of our beliefs and that we are not the beliefs themselves. We tend to fuse our creations to ourselves as if they are us, when in reality these are only decorations like clothes can be decorations. Sure clothes can be useful, protect us from freezing temperatures, or shield our nakedness from scrutinizing eyes, but these decorations do not mirror our true selves.
It was a good reminder that even the beliefs I harbor like I don't have enough time, I don't have enough money, etc etc.are changeable, because I am the creator of those beliefs.
If beliefs we have created are not helping or even allowing us to progress, we need to work on some modification and recreation of those beliefs!
I asked myself:
So Miss. Big Time Creator how are you going to change your belief that there isn't enough time? And I suddenly knew I had to blog about it. No pinpointing keywords first, no self-doubt that it wouldn't be good enough. I was just going to lay it out the way I was going through it.
The next thing I knew I was challenging my "I don't have enough time," and trying to recreate that into "I do have enough time," with actions:
I wrote the blog post,
I got myself and everyone else ready for the day,
I had already learned a lot, and given myself a life changing challenge
I threw together an all out picnic for 5 people
Took the kids to the Audubon,
Went to a couple of stores to get things we needed for the household;
and wrote this article.
ISo, I guess I took up the challenge! I'll keep you updated.
Now I've got to dash off to prepare supper and get to work.
Best wishes and good luck with your challenges. ~Crystal

Very good Crystal! Way to get past that negativity and look for the positive and do something about it!!
It's easy to look at our problems and make excuses, everyone does that ... but it's much more difficult to find solutions and resolve those issues - and when you do that you'll actually start getting somewhere!
Keep at it, and stay focused and optimistic!!

Yes, that sums it up nicely!
