Never giving up, even when it seems to be the only option

Life can throw us some punches, unexpected and belieivngly undeserved. Its difficult to navigate your way when you are the bottm, and the floor keeps sinking even further.

In the midst of dispear, emotional, financial and physical, once you believe and have hope that things will get better, it allows you to stand tall at the bottom.

As i write this, i genuinely couldnt be anymore at the bottom, everything seems to be going wrong, is that really true? That is what my emotions feed my soul with, but if I view my emotions as clouds, that come and go, I escape mentally the negative or bad things that could have me face down.

When at work I totally immerse myself ito helping others, leaving my pain behind and experiencing with them, my patients and thier families, their pain. What do i do when I am not at work or driving the kids around or at an activity for the children, when I am forced to face myself, I become an ostrich.Exercising, watching a movie, reading a book are just a few of the things I do to bury my pain when alone.

I guess, I cou;d cnsider myself a swan, looking graceful and peaceful, but underneath the water, i am flipping away to stay moving and afloat.

It helps, as time passes pain free, but the ugly truth of being at the bottom is still there.....will i ever face it and deal with it? Can I?
