Hey everyone, Samantha here! I joined the WA community a few weeks ago and have spent the time doing training, setting up my site, keyword research, and now writing posts related to my niche. I'm currently a professor and we're coming up towards the end of our semester so things are about to get even busier. Balancing that and my WA work has been both challenging and interesting.

Even still I feel like I'm in this weird in between where I don't know what to focus on - writing, beefing up my site, learning and training, etc. For those of you who have some experience, what are your thoughts on what I should be focusing on? I know this is a marathon and not a race so I want to modulate my expectations while also being productive and moving forward.

I hope everyone has a great week and for those of you in the U.S. I wish you an early Happy Thanksgiving!

Cheers,

Samantha

Definitely focus on the training and writing out the content. Take sometime to focus with each step that you take and this will turn into a habit automatically.

I have to agree with everyone else. Focus on each step of the training and try to add content when you can. Taking things at your own pace helps, as it can be a lot to digest. Best wishes to you!

Hello Samantha.

You have to take it step by step. So my advice is similar to the rest, focus on the training, and very important also is that you complete each task that is required. It helps you apply what you are learning.

Don't allow yourself to be frustrated, overwhelmed or impatient, it can happen. So take your time to do it the right way, the proper way and with less pressure.

I agree with Frank that you should stay focused on the training (working at your own pace) and write content for your website. It is the content that will eventually be the winner in your online business. Jenni.

Hi, Samantha

Focus mainly on completing the training and writing content.

If you still need to do some training, I would continue slowly with that, but you also need a lot of quality content, so perhaps at least one website post a week while your college duties are busier, or one every other week. Just some thoughts, Samantha!
