Every day is a Friday

I believe life is all about perception and choice. I decided to take that feeling of relief and anticipation I would get on a Friday in the office and just translate that to every day of the week. Why would you dread a Monday? Every day is a gift from above. I decided to change my alarm clock to the 'opportunity clock'. I even bought one that had nature sounds I could wake up to as opposed to the blaring alarm noise. Waking up has been such a more pleasant experience since then. I run into every day, whether it's Monday or Wednesday or Sunday going, "What can I accomplish today?" Get excited. Never dread that gift of a day. It's what you choose to make out of it. I think people need to be reminded of that. You can't have a positive life with a negative mind, so be aware of any negativity that may creep into your thoughts, pump the breaks, and change that around.
