well, a couple of months of work and i have come up with what i hope will bring some success in local advertising. only problem is i live in a country where most people dont trust online transactions etc. feeling like i wasted my time .....oh lord. anyhoo, hope someone can gimme a clue as to how to get people on my platforms as email campaigning is not working and seo may not cut it for what i am trying to do. i am trying to start a local version of ebay where local sellers can offer buyers off

You have set up a site, verified authorship and now verify ownership by proving you have access to the code by uploading googles html meta tag or otherwise. You then proceed to fetch your sites for google and submit for indexing. How effective is this for raising your rank in google searches?
