I became a premium member on April 21, 2019, and just finished my Level 2 training courses. When I first joined I was probably like many newbies with high hopes of having an online income stream in short order. That was very unrealistic for someone with no prior experience at this at all and my hopes were quickly dashed when I read some statistics about 85% of the people never make any money.

However, I am not one to ever quit easily and I had just forked out $359 for an annual membership. It didn't really take long to see the value I was receiving here though. Before I was directed to this community I was taking a one-week free course at (not sure if I can name names) but learning how to do HTML coding. Can you imagine where I would be right now compared to where I really am here if I had stayed with that?

As a free member here I completed the Level 1 lessons in the first seven days. I got a taste of what this community is all about and all the training and extras that would come with being a premium member for $49 a month after the first month of $19. I am bound and determined to work my tail off to make this business a success so staying long term and getting the monthly fee at even less was an easy decision.

Anyway so my more realistic goals are now are; any kind of profit in the first year over the small amount of expenses would be the incentive to keep pushing harder. Remembering that everything about this is totally new to me and setting a small goal to start just makes more sense to me now.

My goal in the next three months is to have a lot more training done and more content to my website with some traffic. Within six months I would like to be encouraging and helping those newbies like me that struggle at first because it is so overwhelming after seeing how much work this is going to take before you really see anything coming back to you. The support, training and community can be and is the driving force for me right now. I just have to keep doing my part.

In closing this I would like to say promoting Wealthy Affiliate didn't cross my mind when I started but it's something I will probably do later. I really want to promote some high value items and merchants whose customers make fairly large purchases at first until I learn more.

In tying this to my last blog post about being a Bridge; I believe that is what we are as affiliates. We bridge the gap between the Merchants and their customers.

I am pretty far from being perfect but thankfully I am making progress towards having a successful online business and am deeply grateful to all of this wonderful worldwide community.
