Trials and tribs of a newbie.
Hey WA, my name is Doug and I'm a newbie to WA. That sounds like I'm introducing myself to a group in a 12 - step program for people burdened with 9 - 5 grind, the 12 hour shift work, the 40 hrs a week paid and the extra thirty that isn't, etc.
So that's how I see it here. We are on a long road to freedom of choice, whether it would be to keep a day job , or be able to fully commit to the online world with your Wealthy Affiliate business.
This road is not for the weak at heart, it is tough to dredge though the training, and not stray because you're thinking you should be, or to be fair wanting to be, making money know. We find out as newbies, that it doesn't work that way and that most of what we do is write, write, a write some more. For a guy that is slow at it, writing all the time is an up hill battle. I am , however, happy that the light at the end of the tunnel is easier to see now. I signed up in July and am on level 2, lesson 10. I believe you start learning to monetize in level 3, so woo hoo to that.
Training pros
- All the training is top notch and truly get a site together and up and running.
- The people here are helpful in so many way and really want to help you succeed.
Training Cons
- All in one Seo does not, to my knowledge, come installed on the new websites we are creating. I believe they call the new program SEO Framework. In any case, many of Kyle's training videos still have you go into all in one Seo to do something, but since we don't have it, it can be hard and frustrating to find a workaround.
All I can say is, that's it can be hard to figure somethings out, but it is so worth it.
One last thing. You, the people here at WA are just so great. I can and do find encouragement and answers to my questions with no judgement. You folks are cool 😎
