Hello

I'm a newbie but not really a newbie

I came to WA more than a year ago and , in 2018 April and like many of the people will do, I didn't really go by the training so I ended up creating a site that had a niche too broad and if you have one too I tell you, you are going to suffer before you see any results.

Follow the training

I don't intend to make the same mistake so this time I'm just going to stay right by the training in every way possible and whatver you do just stay by the training.

Why I left WA

Anyways I ended up leaving wealthy affiliate because the exchange rates got bad this side and I couldn't afford the 49 per month anymore it was real huge. I was pretty pissed because i lost my 2 sites that I had been working on.

I had about 50 posts on one site and more than 60 on the other and I just lost it all. Anyways it wasn't much of a problem because using the little training I got here I was able to create a new version of the old site I had lost on WA.

Milestones I archived whilst off WA

WA is a great place and the new site I launched i had learned a lot from a guy called Phillip here at WA ( Lord bless his soul ) so I worked pretty hard and that was in December 2018 and by April I had managed to make some few bucks from Google adsense, my traffic was now hitting at least a couple of hundreds per day and is currently getting between 1000 to 2000 per day and at times up to 3000.

Anyways I could only make about a hundred to 150$ per month and I wasn't really satisfied and it isn't the kind of niche one could make a sale in or get email subscribers and certainly didn't have much competition either.

Why I came back to WA

Wealthy affiliate is the home of Affiliate marketers and not just bloggers. We are all here because after helping people we also want to make money from it. I realised I could only monetise my site through Google adsense and here I was taught adsense is the least paying way to make money online. So I started planning on hosting multiple websites as I was using godaddy and I also wanted some experts to help with their experience and so many tools I needed. Finally it hit me after days of trying to figure out how i was going to start a new website in affiliate marketing.

I thought of WA and my hear beat fast and something just told me that was what I was looking for all along. I never doubted that was God taking to me, so yea I believe God told me to come back here because I have been out there i can tell you, all you need to succeed in affiliate marketing is right here and up there.

Here is my plan

By the end of 2019 I should have launched a website and by the end of 2019 I should have at least 250 posts on it. I'm going to be measuring the success of my Niche on a time basis of 3 - 6 months time like someone here once taught me ( well that because I will be working at a terribly fast rate and ). And I want to try to have had made a few sales by the end of 2019. Content creation i can be a beast without typing too much sh#t and I'll probably be getting people write it for me whilst I work with the other site that I'm currently transferring to WA hosting.

Advice for newbies

1.Follow the training
2. Make sure you focus on a narrow niche
3. Content is king ( make sure you create as much content as possible.)
4. When you realise you made a big mistake in choosing a niche and other stuff and you go for a long time and still haven't earned anything sometimes it's good to start all over again, I did it and I can still do it over again if I have to.)
5. Set work goals and always abode by them no matter what
6. Always ask for help when you need it.
