Days 2 & 3 at WA!!!

That is my theme for the day. Yes, it is Friday and I am snowed in (One of the amazing benefits living in NY). I forgot to post a blog yesterday due to time, mom duty and being absorbed in WA Training (Lessons 5&6) Through this experience, I also took the time to watch The Secret. It grounds me and keeps me focused on what I need to do.
I have learned so much in THREE DAYS - more than I've learned in FOUR YEARS of my own research. Seminar after seminar and pdf after pdf, These lessons are so simple that even my 12-year old can understand it (He actually helped me with the SEO part - that's how easy it is!) As always, the people I've met on here did nothing but push me and gave great advice (I can't name all of you, but MWAH! Thank you!) I'm actually excited to go premium and touch the Affiliate Bootcamp (I might do that beforehand).
Here's the funny thing - I haven't told anyone that I personally know about WA. Not because I want to keep this all to myself, but I honestly don't want nay-sayers in my ear. I reflected on this for the past two days. I would rather accomplish this goal THEN share, THAN share it now and become misguided, conflicted and overwhelmed. I'm on to something positive, and we all know the "crabs in a barrel" analogy, right?
So in my snowed in solitude, I'm currently on Lesson 8, going into Lesson 9. I'm not in a rush, I just learn and apply as I understand it.(Thanks, grad school!) I'll finish the course when I can and go back when I'm stuck. In the meantime, I'll still do the lessons and focus on the end result - financial freedom. Hence the quote. I know exactly what I want, and I'm going to get it. Until the next update

Glad I found your Blog. I'm another one, I haven't share the info about WA either. I'm still reading my lessons and trying to get everything right the first time. I'm excited about what's to come. I like that you said if it doesn't work it's because of me. I do have a problem with procrastination and just thinking about the work that needs to be put into this is kind of exhausting but just thinking about the new experience and that I have control of my own success gives me Drive along with reading your blog. So Thanks, Happy New Year and Keep the Inspiration Coming. Hope all goes well once you finish all your lessons.
Thank you so much. I'm glad you and everyone got something out of my blog. I am simply sharing my experience and I'm sure I'll be in tears one of these days. Haha. But yeah, if you are a procrastinator (I know I'm one,for sure) nothing will get done. It's defeating the purpose. You have to step out of a comfort zone, so to speak. I stepped out of mine by signing up to WA. It's all work in progress. :)

Very true. If you signed up, learned from the courses and bought into premium, then yes, it works! The one thing I LOVE about this, is that everything rides on me. If I don't put in the effort or make the investment, then it's on ME! I can't blame anyone for my lack of implementing skills to be successful. Once your mindset is fixed on that key item, then it will most certainly happen. :)

Sounds like a new WA member on a mission! I do agree with you about keeping this to yourself - until you can show the money. Now how good will that feel?
Exactly! It's more of a personal reason for me - too many naysayers and folks thinking I should have a traditional 9-5 job. I've done it for 10 years and quite frankly, it's not my thing. What many fail to realize, is that freelancing/online work is more than 9-5 and is more creative than being a 40-hour drone. I feel great already, and I will feel much better once I "make it".

Love this post. I felt the same way about sharing WA initially without any proof. I shared my website with my family and they were impressed and proud with what I have accomplished. They are interested with getting in Wealthy Affiliate in the next few weeks due to the holidays. Best of luck to you.
