I'm wanting to know how to add links onto my website to direct visitors to Amazon for example
You have to sign up with Amazon to be an affiliate then the add links button will be on top of Amazon's site. You can create many different widgets there. They have a bunch of training videos. Once you have the link, you can add it to your widgets or posts.
Yes but when I'm going through the Process of joining Amazon as an associate/affiliate it only gives an option to Americans, American states, when you select where you want your check to be delivered. I'm in Cape Town South Africa.
I'm in the UK and it was fine for me. There is an option in the sign-up process to pick your country, as we sign up to the Amazon website on our home turf. Have you tried opening Amazon from your browser and seeing if it's SA oriented?
