Happy New Year WA!

I wanted to wish a Happy New Year to everyone here at WA.

I've only been here a little over three months now, but it feels like I've been here a lot longer than that. I have learned so much since coming here, it amazes even me. I was looking for a way to supplement my retirement when I found WA. I had been looking for a long time and was skeptical when I found this, having been burned by other so called training sites before. I almost passed it up. Fortunately for me, I signed up for the free training just to check it out.

I was very pleasantly surprised to find how easy and thorough the training was. I was just waiting for the other shoe to drop. In the back of my mind I just knew that at any minute, I was going to have to dig deep to continue. I was desperately hoping it wouldn't happen. I was learning a lot, Having a website and my own domain. Having made some friends in this wonderful community. Everyone was eager to help me succeed.

Then the unspeakable happened, Black Friday! I couldn't believe my eyes. All of this, the training, the community, the website, the hosting and all of these wonderful tools, for one low affordable annual fee. After a little,"Can this be real? Am I reading this right? I must be missing something." I jumped in with both feet, and I never looked back. Thank you to Kyle and Carson and the whole community. It's a great place to be. I mean think about it, you're actually becoming successful by helping others. What a concept.

Having several weeks in December where I couldn't spend a lot of time here at WA. Having Christmas to think about. I do woodworking as a hobby and Having some gifts that had to get made. After all, family always comes first. I spent a lot of time out in my workshop and just didn't have enough free time to keep up with WA. I thought you might like to see some of what I did while I was gone so I included a few pictures.

I never make any money at it but it something I really enjoy doing it. Especially scroll saw work.

Now that Christmas is over, I'm back, and with more determination than ever. I lost some ground while I was gone and I just made it back into the top 200. I never really watch my rating that much but it does tell me I've been doing something right.

Basically, I knew nothing about affiliate marketing and even less about the internet and the computer. I may be slower than a lot of others, especially the younger generation, but I'll keep plugging along. My first goal for 2018 is to finish the certification training by the end of January. With what I've learned, I'm well on my way to achieving that goal, thanks to a very patient and accommodating community.

So, Happy New Year to my WA family. I really appreciate all the help you have all been. I hope the New Year is everything you hoped it would be. I wish much success and prosperity to each and every one of you.

Good luck, and I'll see you at the top!

News flash, Donald, have you thought about making a niche site about woodworking? It's obvious that you have a passion for it and a talent too; time to turn that into an income as well. There are many other folks out there interested in learning more about that topic. It can be monetized with selling books, tools and other supplies. You've got something ready to go! Go for it!

Thank you Jeannine. I do have plans for a woodworking site in the near future, before the end of this year. I made my first site about lower back issues. I've had problems with mine since highscool and I thought it was more important to get that information out there. I'm very passionate about that too. If I manage to make a few bucks on it, that would be okay too.

I hope the new year brings you much success and prosperity.

David

Thanks David, and I hope you have a happy and prosperous new year.

Don

Happy New Year to you as well Don, wishing you greater things this year. Woodworking is very time consuming, but if it is your passion you will sure go a long way. Beautiful jobs above Don, thank you for sharing.

Thank you for your kind words, David. I do enjoy it. It's basically just a hobby for me though. If I did it everyday, it wouldn't be as much fun anymore. My passion now is WA. I love learning new things, i do that every day here, plus I get to help others and may someday make a few bucks to boot. It just doesn't get any better than that. Hope your new year brings you much success and prosperity.

Don

Woodworking is a great hobby and niche Don!

Thanks Mike, a woodworking site is in the plan for the near future.
