This post really isn't about me. Well, it is in a sense. I'm not going to brighten it up with pretty pictures, fancy trim or famous quotes. I'm just going to tell it like it is.A few weeks ago, I was experiencing some difficulty focusing. I was going through another bout of sinus issues, so I thought. It wasn't long before I was experiencing some pain in the back of my eyes anytime I was outside in the sun. So I figured I had a sinus infection. As the days went on, it got to the point that I co

Hello WA friends and family. (I say that because this feels like a family) I've been here about four months now and I've learned an incredible amount during that period of time. Thanks to an amazing training course, all of these great tools and especially this community. I actually feel I'm going to make it and reach my goals. I could probably be going a lot faster, but being a former teacher, I believe that you need to learn the basics well before moving on to the more advanced stuff. Of cours

I left a comment on one of Ariel's post "Success is spelled WA" She liked it and suggested that I make a post out of it. Thank you, Ariel. I had been working on a post along those lines anyway and the title fit really well. So I changed the title and tweaked it here and there. This is the result. I hope you like it.A couple of days ago, I was feeling pretty low. Issues had come up and I was having trouble seeing my way around them. I had been racking my brain as to what I should do. It just se

Hello WA,I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of at least some of this. It seams that most everything I do here is new to me. I've always been a hands on kind of a guy. If it has to do with anything mechanical or involves anything with wood, I can do it. Anything involving computers or the internet has been pretty much Greek to me. Because of that, every time I get into something new in the training, I have to do some research to figure out just what it is and how to use it.That pa

I wanted to wish a Happy New Year to everyone here at WA.I've only been here a little over three months now, but it feels like I've been here a lot longer than that. I have learned so much since coming here, it amazes even me. I was looking for a way to supplement my retirement when I found WA. I had been looking for a long time and was skeptical when I found this, having been burned by other so called training sites before. I almost passed it up. Fortunately for me, I signed up for the free tr

Hello out there in WA land. How many of you out there are ready for Christmas? I'm not there yet but I get a little closer every day. I'm writing this later in the evening because I spent most of the day doing Christmas stuff. I love Christmas, It brings family closer together. It brings the kid out in me. (In other words, I get to check out all the new toys I can play with after the grandkids open them.) I haven't had much time to work on my own site here lately, but I won't let that ge

I woke up this morning looking forward to a long day in my wood shop working on Christmas presents. I got up, did my doctor ordered workout, drank a protein shake and headed out to the shop. I was cleaning up the mess from the night before and it dawned on me to check out what was going on at WA. I was blown away when I saw the Top 200 banner on my profile page. I had to do a double take to make sure I was on my profile. I couldn't believe it. It may sound crazy, but I was excited. It me

Just wanted to let you all know about some of the things going on in my life here lately. I've always been pretty up beat and positive. I enjoy meeting new people and getting to know them. WA has been one of the best things I've gotten into. The people here are extremely friendly and helpful. Kyle called us a "pay it forward community.) I would call this more of a fellowship than a community. I was raised by two amazing parents who believed that the more you help people, the more success

I've been a premium member for about a month now. I was going to be content to do the month to month thing but when this Black Friday sale came up. I decided that a deal like that is too good to pass up. Since I have been out of work for the last month, money is a pretty tight but I didn't want to pass up such a good deal. When there's a will there's a way

Just wanted to take a minute to wish everyone at WA a Happy Thanksgiving! Things have been a little hectic around here the past few days. After being off work for just over a month, I've been playing catch up and I still have a long way to go, both at work and at home, so I haven't been able to spent much time on line. I have a lot of catching up to do here too. With the family get together and way to much food to eat, it looks like I'll be spending the next few days trying to lose the weig
