Whose Plants Are You Watering?

I tend to think in terms of flowers, herbs and gardening because those are some of my passions in life.

I was answering some questions this morning from some of our new members and, the thought occurred to me that, it was like gardening, in a way.

My husband and I both like gardening and yard work and we often split the duties. Sometimes, I'm watering in one area of the yard while he's watering or weeding in another. I don't just water the plants I planted, I water them all! So does he.

Here at Wealthy Affiliate, when we help the newcomers, it's like we're watering plants.

We're not just watering our own plants (affiliates if you like), but we are watering one another's plants, which is a way of paying it forward and also a way of repaying some of the help (watering) given to us when we started out at Wealthy Affiliate.

Think about it this way - some of the people who helped you the most when you first joined probably have a huge group of affiliates (garden) by now and cannot possibly answer every question each one of them asks. All of us who came up through the ranks behind them can help them out by answering some of those questions (watering their plants) in repayment for how much they taught us (watered) in the beginning.

Behind us is a new group of affiliates (plants) coming up that will, hopefully, help our affiliates (water our gardens).

So, have a great weekend and get out there and water some plants!!!
