Spammers In Our Midst! Yes, folks, we do. Many of them don't even realize it! They are so exuberant about their new websites, etc., along with the fact that they have learned to blog that they want to share it with the world. And they should, share it with the world that is.However, there are a few rules that go along with blogging here at Wealthy Affiliate that, obviously, many have not read.I know some here have heard this over and over, but it has to be brought up agai

This seems to be something that new members have trouble completing. I have seen at least 5 sites recently, while giving feedback, that simply do not have an about me page. Maybe you're having trouble because you don't know how to write an about me page. Maybe you're not comfortable with the idea. This page is more important than you might realize. Let me ask you a question. If you went to a site giving advice on, let's say, how to fix a leaky faucet, wouldn't you want to be assured that the

Where Are The Top 10 Places To Put KeywordsI listened to a webinar the other night on seo and on-page secrets. A portion of it was about placement of keywords and the top 10 places to put keywords on your page. The speaker was Dori Friend. Dori previously worked for Apple Computer and some of her accomplishments there included things like being a part of a team that created the very first digital interface for cameras, some parts still being used today on phone cameras.Aroun

Yes, It Says "To Google" There is a reason for that. More than likely, if your site doesn't come up on the first or second page of a google search, not very many people will even see it. EVER!!!Therefore, you need to market your site to google. By that I mean you need to know the things google looks for when ranking your pages and posts. Many people today don't think that content is still king. They think that they just need good keywords and internal and externa

Yes, folks, I am back among the ranks of the top 200. I got this pop-up notification when I signed in today asking me to blog about it, so here goes!By the way, I think that is yet another new feature that was added while I was away or maybe I just didn't remember it? There have been so many updates and upgrades while I was gone.Anyway, I wasn't expecting it!I took almost a year off (even though I kept my membership) and my rank went very, very low - like around 3,000. It really wasn't a vacat

I tend to think in terms of flowers, herbs and gardening because those are some of my passions in life.I was answering some questions this morning from some of our new members and, the thought occurred to me that, it was like gardening, in a way.My husband and I both like gardening and yard work and we often split the duties. Sometimes, I'm watering in one area of the yard while he's watering or weeding in another. I don't just water the plants I planted, I water them all! So does he.Here at W

Oh yes, not once but twice, I have caused it to crash and once it even took duck duck go with it!Why, you ask. Let me explain...Basically, it's all in the name "Screen Capture". When they say "Screen Capture", that's what they mean!I recently decided to start on Affiliate Bootcamp here at Wealthy Affiliate to help refresh my memory on how to do things. I thought I might as well create an affiliate site while I was reviewing. I've been busy fixing broken links, etc on my original site and try

WOW! I can hardly believe it's been 2 years. All in all, I'm doing pretty well. I have one website that is simply an affiliate marketing site related to autoimmune disease that has Amazon links to product, etc. I have used this site as a learning tool and have come a long way from where I started (I didn't even know the terms SEO, URL and some other little ditties, lol). Simply put, I've accomplished more than I ever dreamed with the help of Wealthy Affiliate!I've been able to remain relative
