Pay-It-Foward - Help Pursue Dreams
The subject of money can be a very sensitive subject, especially on a personal level. There are many messages and blogs from both new and potential members struggling financially to make a start with, or to get on WA’s platform. It would be rewarding if we can collectively as a community find ways help pay-it-forward on this platform and help give them a start their online journey affiliate marketing.
Some of us already pay it forward in our offline lives, it’s not uncommon for someone going thru the drive-thru or in the lineup at Starbucks and many other coffee shops to pay for a cup of coffee for the next person in line.
Recently I was at the grocery store check-out and the person behind me paused on his cell phone and told the cashier he’s going to pay for my grocery, I looked to the other side of me to see who he was referring to, of course there was no one there. With a surprising look on my face and in my voice, I asked “why would you want to do that?” He appeared very genuine and lean over and said “Life is good, and all I asked is that you say a pray for me and my family.” I sense his sincerity, so I graciously accepted his generous offer, asked for his name and agreed to pray for him and his family, which I did and still do.
The above pay-it-forward system is a little more challenging online. It’s not instant, there’s a process involved and we have to beware of potential scammers.
However, on this world wide web there are people in less develop countries that don’t have a trusted pay system and don’t recognize pay systems such as the popular PayPal, and a credit card is unheard of.
So how do we proceed with a pay-it-forward in our community?
Is it a good idea?
Should it be up to their mentor to help them find the way?
Here are a few ideas on how we can pay it forward and help some of our struggling members or potential members onto our WA platform to shine with us:
Offer to pay for the 1 or 2 months of membership.
Offer financial counselling.
Help someone pursue their dream.

If you look under your credit dashboard there is a tab that says ttansfer credits that u can use to help other members
I have never used it but worth checking into. The idea is they can turn around and use ur transfered credits to help pay for domains.membership etc.
Hi - those transferred credits can only be used for comments, feedback or domains, not membership.
Hi - unfortunately, it's not been updated. The option to transfer cash credits for membership or for cashing out has been removed. I believe it was due to fraudulent transactions.
Hi - there isn't actually a way to pay for someone's membership. You would have to send them the money, which could lead to problems.
Melanie, I think that would be a brilliant idea. Of course, I think there need to be a serious criteria of contenders who we would consider 'serious,' then it would really help the community to develop as a whole. Thought provoking blog. Thank you for sharing
Hi Simome, thanks for your feedback, it means a lot. I hope it also provoke thoughts in other members as well.
