Rediscovering Pinterest: A Journey of Rekindled Inspiration

I used to be an avid pinner until Pinterest introduced business accounts, which left me feeling disheartened and caused me to lose interest.

Several years later, I decided to revisit Pinterest, hoping to reconnect with my old boards—only to find them missing..., gone forever.

Opening a business account didn't help; I struggled to regain my momentum and creativity.

Just yesterday, I logged into Pinterest again, finding two accounts linked to my emails. When I clicked on my older email address, a few cherished boards reappeared.

Excitedly, I tried accessing them, but many just spun without loading. Persistence paid off as smaller boards gradually displayed their pins, followed by larger ones.

I couldn't contain my joy as each board came back to life before my eyes. It reignited my passion for Pinterest. Curious to explore further, I embarked on a learning journey, starting anew despite my prior experience.

I'm thrilled I took that leap. I've not only rediscovered my love for Pinterest but also gained valuable insights into leveraging it for business.

I just listened to the first Pinterest class with Jay: “A Beginners Guide to Pinterest” he gives insight into the Pinterest for business, which helped strengthened my understanding and gives me confident to go forward with Pinterest.

Thank you Jay, love your classes.

I used to pin - or at least tried to - more often about 4 years ago. I had a lot of boards. I created a new id and page for the affiliate site and there are no boards anymore!! everything is a huge pile of stuff - like Ali Baba's cave. I am not too happy about this I must say. It is just too messy...

I used to think the same thing, my old board are from 2011 or 2012.

Try signing in with the email address that you registered with when you created the first set of boards.

I don't think anything is deleted, just takes time to resurface if you haven't signed in for a while.
Best of luck; let me know how it works out.

Hello Melanie,

I must admit, I absolutely love Pinterest and created heaps of passion in my boards there, however with the need to keep so many social media accounts for marketing, I have let it go sadly.

Because I am a creative artist and time doing all this computer work is hard to manage and keep my main focus alive.

Glad you got your boards back :)

Kind regards
Erica

Ok, this really makes me want to do Pinterest now, Melanie.

I have some boards set up, but nothing that good, I need to learn how to use it!

Thanks for the push :)

Hi Teri, keep watching Jay's training, make sure you start from the beginning to get a good understanding.

The business side needs a little more set up,
the personal side is a lot of fun.

Cheers!

Awe..., sweet!
Thank you.

I've been missing my friend Simone.
Remember her?

3

Yeah...where is she these days?

So sorry to mention it here, but she passed away after a lengthy illness back in February of this year.
I mentioned it to Kyle and a few people I knew she
communicated with.

It was so very difficult to blog without thinking of her. I knew without a doubt she would have been the first to comment.

Oh ,no....I had no idea...I just sent her a private message...

So sorry to hear.....

Thank you Myra.

It's not only my loss; it's also WA's loss.

She was a shinning light on this platform;
very actively involved.
