Meditation – Surprising Facts for Success

I decided to give meditation a try when I realized that good physical health is mandatory and should be maintained.

Without adequate physical and mental health, success becomes a dream that never becomes true. So, at this point, I opted for meditation that helped me become successful as it made me healthier, both physically and mentally.

Please note success is not always monetarily measured, it’s simply can refer to anything you want out of life.

We live in a tech-driven and rapidly changing world. On the one hand, technology has brought us the utmost ease and conveniences.

On the other hand, it has made our lives way busier than ever. As a result of our stressed-out lives, our physical, mental, and spiritual health and growth are incredibly undermined.

Whether you’re a student, a professional, an entrepreneur, a parent, or in any other capacity or walk of life, we are lagging behind because we have failed in bringing balance and peace of mind to our lives.

Nonetheless, I am telling you from my own experience that meditation can help us a great deal in shifting the modern world in our favour.

No matter what type of meditation you choose to practice – guided meditation, mindfulness meditation, mantra meditation, qi gong, or yoga – the results will be beneficial.

Health Benefits of Meditation

Better health is the first and foremost prerequisite for success. Meditation can help bring

change in your physiology and fills the cells of your body with more energy. As the energy level increases in your body, you feel more peaceful, joyful, enthusiastic, and motivated.

Meditation can help bring the following changes on the physical level:

  • Maintains blood pressure
  • Reduces anxiety and stress by lowering the blood lactate levels
  • Removes tension headaches, muscle & joint pains, insomnia, ulcers, and other body pains primarily caused by tension
  • Improves mood by increasing the production of serotonin
  • Strengthens the immune system

Mental Benefits of Meditation

When I started practicing meditation, I learnt that it can help to promote healing. It brings the pattern of our brainwaves into an alpha state. It makes the mind fresh, tension-free, peaceful, and delicate. It certainly helps me from feeling unstable, overwhelmed, or emotionally vulnerable.

Specifically, meditation helped me achieve success in the following ways:

  • Improved my emotional stability
  • Decreased anxiety and stress
  • Improved my creativity
  • Made me feel happy
  • Developed my intuition
  • Helped me to gain clarity
  • Helped me to achieve peace of mind
  • Developed a problem-solving attitude in me

I enjoyed that Melanie, especially the part where success is not measured in monetary value. Peace in my soul n love in my heart makes me success. I dont meditate, I pray and read the word. I went thru a mindset program back in October, made me mad now I laugh again. Im saving this to look into the type of meditation you mentioned. I have a question. I after reading this it occurred to me that WA might be my meditation. Im not stressed,, negative, cant put it down devoted what do you think Cause? Yoga might be cool for me Cause I'm not as sweet as I used to be lol.

I think that I tend to pray more than meditate, Melanie! Is there a marked difference?

Well it depends on how you look at it.
If praying works for you, then continue to do so.

Some people think that sleeping is the same as meditating.😊
When I meditate, I'm usually listening to soft music or just simply sitting still and quieting my mind.
