Stick to what you know best.
I have noticed that a lot of opportunity seekers in this industry always seem to be looking for the next best product or product of the month.
I know first hand how tempting it can be to get seduced by the promises of more riches and quicker results.
It is so easy to get distracted from your goals especially if you have been working away for months and still haven't seen any special results.
It is easy then to get side tracked by trying a new method or a new product with the promise of earning money quicker.
This is a mistake and if you get into this habit you are just going to drift from one opportunity to the next and become an opportunity seeker.
You really need to stand by your choice and stick with it to see it through.
On the other hand it is good not to have all your eggs in one basket but I think you should wait until you have really developed your skills in one area before moving on to another project.
Once you have your website up and running and actually bringing in the traffic and commissions I think then it would be a good Idea to start another project to maximize your profits.
I have been looking into a new project but I want to wait until I have all the hard work and hard labor finished with my current site before attempting to launch another site.
What are your thoughts on this, how many businesses do you think is a good idea and what would you recommend doing to maximize profits?

Very good advice. I know a lot of people get frustrated when their sites don't seem to attract enough traffic in the early stages and think they need to try something else. Getting regular visitors and making conversions will never happen overnight unless you are prepared to spend heavily on external advertising. Be patient, continue to build your sits with unique content, share your comment on social media sites and forums and the rewards will follow.
Good Point and I agree, although I have 2 sites. With a consulting friend I have concentrated on my niche site and got a lot accomplished. We have moved to get some work done on My WA promotion site.
At this point both need additional quality content with images
I will follow the inspiration that I get until they are fully operational.
I have a 3rd waiting in the wings but there is no hurry because the longer I wait the more I learn.
Right or wrong,just some thoughts,
Marty
I know from experience that being
Jack of all trades and master of none
does not work in the long run,
stay focused on your goal of mastering
the niche that you have chosen,
everything else will take care of itself

Thanks for saying this.. I am plugging along with my first site.. and had occasionally felt overwhelmed as if I wasn't knowledgeable enough about my niche (Multi-dog households). the more I work ... the more I realize I need to write what I know... stories are a good lead in.. excited about future sites.. have some great ideas (other things that I know about).. but know I need to get this one up and working well before that happens... one day at a time! we can do this!
Thank you for this it is much appreciated as I am about to build my first site Thank you Kevin
Wow!!! You hit the point. Perfecting one area not only helps you maximise your potential but also helps you see get the maximum benefit before tackling another issue.
I have been working on my website for 6 months now and I feel like I still have so much to learn. I have started looking for other ways to make money, but then I get so sidetracked that I completely ignore my site. I have also thought of starting another site.
But, after giving it some thought, I think it is probably best for me to stick with the site I have and keep working on it until it gets more traffic and starts bringing in some money. Once that happens then I will consider moving on to something else.

Good advice. I'm just starting and I have two websites. It was a mistake.
