Life gets busy, don't forget to stop and be Thankful
We came home from a wonderful day at church and spending time with family on mothers day to find my sons home (which is next door), broken into and in a shambles. Every closet door open and stuff everywhere. They took thousands of dollars worth of stuff from him.
We are thankful no one was at home and injured. Stuff can be replaced but family cannot.
Life can get so busy and we simply forget to stop and be thankful what we have been blessed with.
I just want to stop and say THANK YOU to all my friends here at WA, I am growing and learning and you are always so giving and willing to help.

So sorry to hear this happened, but as you say no one was hurt and things can be replaced!
I am so sorry to hear this news, but at least everyone was safe, which is the main thing. Take care of yourselves.

Oh my goodness, that is awful. The good thing is that no-one was home and no-one was hurt, except for shattered nerves.
That's an awful thing to come back to but as you say, possessions can be replaced, people can't. Chin up :)
I just saw this post. I know it's been almost three years but I pray that your son is getting back on his feet again. You have a great perspective. Possessions can be replaced but safety for our family is truly something to be thankful for. Thanks for sharing!
