Am I really an Entrepreneur or just a biz opportunity seeker?
Just because I join a business opportunity does that make me an Entrepreneur? It was recently brought to my attention that a Entrepreneur does not follow after every shiny new object (new biz opportunity) that presents itself. Instead, an Entrepreneur is focused and actually has learned to say no.
I think I have definitely been a biz opportunity seeker in the past, but I am currently becoming more focused, driven for success ...and learning to be an Entrepreneur. The changes I am making :
1. No longer looking to join any other business opportunities (just saying no)
2. working on self improvement
3. learning new skill sets like blogging and attraction marketing
4. becoming more active on social sites and communities
5. learning to use systems and tools
6. sharing what I learn
7. becoming more consistent in all of the above

An entreprener will always be A biz buzz opportunity seeker the difference in the whole journey is that we bring our unique take. That is the point of difference
Maybe you're an EIT (Entrepreneur In Training)
or perhaps a member of the Future Entrepreneurs of the World (literally one of the FEW!)
Seriously, though, you obviously have an entrepreneurial spirit. There's not rule that says you can't be one if you "chase shiny objects". It's part of the learning process. One thing entrepreneurs have in common is that they take risks. They ork long hours for THEMSELVES and sometimes invest in things that don't reap any monetary rewards. But each time you make a mistake, it is a learning experience and you're one step closer to being the successful entrepreneur you see in yourself when you look in the mirror. SO hang in there, Debbie Black. You're every bit an entrepreneur as anyone else here at WA.
That's great! It's a difficult transition to go from an opportunity seeker to entrepreneur. It all comes down to learning, applying what you learn, and staying focused.

I've always liked the textbook definition of a person who creates a business to take on financial risk in hope of making a profit. (From my small business entrepreneurship course so many years ago.)
