Very happy to know my work has already influenced someone in our Community!
I just read a post by JoshyT, and he even has mentioned my page in a blog post on his website. It has been rather difficult to write on the subject I am writing, my niche being all about quitting weed and everything involved in that. The reason I keep doubting my niche isn't because there aren't a ton of products that can be promoted and associated with a healthy lifestyle that one must lead to stay away from this addiction, but because in doing research on the different subjects I want to approach, there is SOOOO MUCH positively slanted misinformation!
In fact, if I didn't know any better from my own personal experience just how harmful weed is not only to the mind, but also to the body, I might be one of those people looking for a way to deal with my depression and arthritis etc that would get trapped into thinking weed is actually "Medicinal"
So in requesting comments, a person who came across my page is Joshy, one of our new members here at WA, and I can't believe just how much my writing has reached out to him. It is very very encouraging to know that, because I know where there is one, there are many more, who will be helped by the information I am putting out, information that directly counteracts all of the propaganda being put out by both the mainstream and the social media.
Thanks Josh!!! I guess I'll keep working on it, for the sake of all of the people like us who need encouragement and confirmation on the true harms of marijuana addiction - a very real addiction that is being underplayed currently in disgusting ways.
I realize by reading Josh's post both here on WA and on his website that as many anti-weed sites there may be, there just aren't enough of them out there, and there sure aren't any with my perspective, having used it to deal with a variety of conditions, from depression and ptsd, to psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Just posted my 6th blog post on my site, thanks to Josh's encouraging words!

thank you so very much. Because I'm really rethinking my whole approach, whether I picked the "right" niche. But I remember I think it was Kyle or someone else on WA that said there really is no wrong niche. Only wrong mindsets.
When I wrote my blog on my site for quitting weed, I found the cravings came back stronger than they had since I quit, ESPECIALLY when I was finding pictures for the blog. Working on my "make money online" niche, I'm not thinking about weed; my site gives me something to focus on to not think about smoking.
I can understand why you are considering a different approach. Writing about weed is keeping it in the fore-front of your mind, and I can imagine you're finding it 10x harder than I am because of this. Perhaps you could find a different niche just while you are de-toxing? It's a tricky one, I know.....
I just typed into google "affiliate programs + quitting cannabis
and i got loads of affiliate companies .
You can also link to books and self help programmes and are there any cannabis alternatives etc.......also you could have a look at the type of affiliate companies other quitting sites have on them and join the same ones :-)) keep us posted will you and i am so glad your posts are reaching people :-)) go U
Yeah there is one specific program that helped me heaps. The problem is, I framed it as though I'm already clean. So...I'm thinking of reframing my posts from "I'm already clean, and this is how I did it, to I am getting clean, and this is how I am doing it" I think I need to be honest if I am to go on with this.

Neither of our sites are going to be getting *any* (organic) traffic YET, but years down the line you could be helping people out from a blog that you write today, and hopefully by the dozens :)

Definitely Is...I just want more of it lol...I just wanna get to the point of having traffic...always have been impatient that way and always been good at giving up before I put in enough work to make a difference. That's why this was very encouraging for me.
