New Idea
So recently we've been thinking of releasing some exclusive content via our website and getting rid of our Patreon. After some serious thinking, we realized that asking for tips for what we do is a bad business decision...people don't usually want to throw money in a cup, they want to use their money to purchase a solid product.
Patreon is very good at one thing: allowing fans to donate so you can pay for new equipment or having them donate to help fund a new project or idea. For instance, if an artist wanted to get back into painting with oils after a long time of painting with acrylic, that artist may use Patreon in order to allow the fans to contribute and help purchase oils so the artist can create better content.
In this case, we've been mostly using it as a sort of "tip jar", which isn't nearly as fulfilling to our audience.
Because of this, we are considering releasing monthly exclusive content in the form of a curated bundle of media we've created or endorsed, similar to the Humble Bundle. Also similar to the Humble Bundle, we will be doing this at a much lower price than the usual retail cost, and in case our audience wants only one or two things out of the bundle, they can pay what they want without having the entire bundle forced on them.
This isn't set in stone, of course, and I'd love it if I could get a few opinions on this idea. Positive comments and suggestions are always welcome!

I love Patreon and have blogged on it before myself.
