Oh gosh I must be VIP now... or not?
Lately I noticed that some parts of my page is being indexed on google little by little and I started getting some "working together" offers and linkbacks.. I'm sure some or many of you here have this tricky "VIP" experience. well basically I'm wondering outloud here and wanted to share some of those links so if anyone else knows anything at all, please feel free to share your experiences, knowledge and opinions here. was generally wondering what would be some of the best methods to check on some credibility points for these kind of referrals:
first one is from a guy who made contact through the site and presented himself as Ryan, the admin of linkdiversity.net
Subject: Would you like to work together?
Message Body:
Hi there, My name is Ryan and I'm an SEO (search engine optimization) specialist. I've been looking through your site for a while and taking a look at your keyword rankings in Google and I believe we can easily work together. I help my clients receive greater exposure and more traffic by ranking their website higher in Google for targeted keywords. Google is the number one source of traffic on the internet and ranking high in Google equals gathering more traffic, leads and sales. I'm able to achieve results like this by using many white hat SEO methods including web2.0 creation, article creation and submission, creating articles and backlinks on wiki pages, and then creating a second tier of social bookmarks, forum profiles and blog commenting. I have created an all-in-one package that includes all these methods for a very affordable price at my website - http://linkdiversity.net. All you have to do is give me your keywords, sit back and relax, while you know that many quality backlinks are being created for you every day and I send full detailed reports that show exactly where every single backlink was created. I'm also a trusted eBay seller with 100% positive feedback and I would be more than happy to show you my eBay feedback page just to prove that I am an ordinary guy that wants my clients to succeed, because success for them is success for me. Please let me know if you have any questions. Take care - Ryan / http://linkdiversity.net
This was left as comment on one of my posts.. just to make clear, it actually could possibly be one of the WA members but really not sure- I sent an email back yesterday saying this could be of help and asking what does he/she have in mind. didn't get a reply yet:
"Do you have a spam issue on this blog; I also am a blogger,
and I was wanting to know your situation; many of us have created some nice methods and we are looking to swap strategies with others,
why not shoot me an e-mail if interested."
3) Another offer that was posted as comment:
Hello Web Admin, I noticed that your On-Page SEO is is missing a few factors, for one you do not use all three H tags in your post, also I notice that you are not using bold or italics properly in your SEO optimization. On-Page SEO means more now than ever since the new Google update: Panda. No longer are backlinks and simply pinging or sending out a RSS feed the key to getting Google PageRank or Alexa Rankings, You now NEED On-Page SEO. So what is good On-Page SEO?First your keyword must appear in the title. Then it must appear in the URL.You have to optimize your keyword and make sure that it has a nice keyword density of 3-5% in your article with relevant LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing). Then you should spread all H1,H2,H3 tags in your article.Your Keyword should appear in your first paragraph and in the last sentence of the page. You should have relevant usage of Bold and italics of your keyword. There should be one internal link to a page on your blog and you should have one image with an alt tag that has your keyword….wait there’s even more Now what if i told you there was a simple WordPress plugin that does all the On-Page SEO, and automatically for you? That’s right AUTOMATICALLY, just watch this 4minute video for more information at. Seo Plugin
4) Trackbacks and pingbacks- after reading some suggestions about handling trackbacks and pingbacks comments, I tend to "spam" about 95% of them recognizing nothing of real interaction in them yet there are some with somewhat a swinging uncertainty character, like these 2 for example:

As we all here know, the internet is loaded with scamming windows and opportunities... I tried to look these up on google to find reviews of some kind but didn't really find anything. If anyone has some info about these or other offers alike or any tips about right handling of these kind of offers coming in, I believe it is helpful for everyone as we all continuously learning what should be good choices to make or recommend for others and what stuff should we keep away from and even warn others.
Have a productive and fun weekend everyone :)

yep just as I thought and wanted to make sure I'm not too quick to judge.. surely this spam stuff is frequent enough among everyone to get familiar to its nature. Already had the si captcha plugin installed before, now installed the "Spam Free WordPress 2.2.3" plugin for hopefully that controls most of that stuff.. if anyone may have some good experience with other spam blocking plugins def would be useful to know. Thanks everyone for the feedback, stay safe- and spam free! :)
I have seen all of these posted by different WA members within the last two months. I think it's pretty safe to say they are all spam.
I would stick with the program and follow Kyle's instructions. Don't get side tracked at this time. Maybe I'm wrong but too many cooks spoil the meal.

Found this blog by Steve with useful info to help recognize the LESS obvious spam - even though its Jul12, still relevant and gives a decent idea about the tricky spamming comments. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/ivetriedthat/blog/how-to-quickly-identify-comment-spam
