Just a quick heads up on the new official posting rule from Kyle.

No AI created content. While AI Assisted content is fine (content that you make your own), you cannot copy and paste "out of the box" GPT, Bard, Claude or other AI content here into blog posts.

Thanks for reiterating this Dianne. It’s a shame that something that’s supposed to help us be efficient is being misused but at the end of the day readers aren’t dumb they will detect the robotic content and not engage in a website or content…. And for such content to also be posted on WA is disappointing but I guess that’s how “efficient” people are being even with their own thoughts and experiences.

Have a great day all and remember to weave the power of gratitude for the enchanting use of AI into your daily lives 😊

Good morning Diane,

That's great news, I'm really pleased to hear that!

The Wealthy Affiliate blog posts should be related to Internet marketing and building our online business. It should also be our personal experience, not AI's experience of the platform!

I believe that posts that are not related to the above should be for Facebook and similar platforms.

I appreciate the heads-up.

Have a great day.

Roy

As we Embark on this journey....

Just updated this yesterday, you are quick Diane! We of course allow AI assisted content, and that means you leverage the platform here or another to assist you in the contention creation, and then edited and polished it (same as creating content for the web), just don't allow the "buddy buddy" content that GPT produces.

I think to a certain degree people were "excited" about their newfound capabilities at first, and forgot about the quality. It honestly impacted me in that way at first, and then I realized all the faults with AI and the weaknesses, but kept awareness of how it can really help us all become better at what we do.

Hi, Diane

That's really "music to my ears!" Lol 👍 😎

It's amazing how quickly new technology can get abused. I guess we are all guilty of that to some degree.

I use AI at WA to generate my lists of guitar player awards and discographies, but I try to remember to indicate that they were created by ChatGPT or Bard. I always reveal which images are AI-generated, even though it's obvious.

I loved reading a particular column in one of my guitar magazines, but the author has recently replaced it with info that is obviously totally AI-generated. There have already been multiple complaints in the "Reader Mail" section.

Most readers can detect totally AI-generated writing and usually don't appreciate it, even if it is extremely well-written, because they can feel as if they are being deceived or misled by someone they have come to trust.

AI-driven research is a real time-saver, but we should use it to enhance our writing, not replace it.

Rock On! 🤘

Brilliant. Count me in, I 100% agree.
We are seeing whole scripts just copy and pasted with no personality, it's so obvious.
I would much rather see someone research using AI if needed, and we all do similar to this when we read books, look on google, but then type it out in your own words.
That person's style and character will come through then, making the article more readable and personable.
Well done Kyle, thank you Diane.
