HARPA AI: Chrome Automation Co-pilot

So, as you probably know, I am pretty obsessed with ChatGPT and all things AI, and am spending a lot of time learning prompt engineering.

But, hey, there's a new kid on the block that has grabbed my attention, and I'm blown away by it!

I don't think anybody on WA has written about this yet, so, let me be the first to introduce you to this phenomenon!

I am talking about a Chrome extension called HARPA AI, that is described as an automation co-pilot.

Simply download it from the Chrome extension store.

One of the drawbacks with ChatGPT is its inability to properly read the internet.

So, if you want feedback help with a post, or to glean some information from a website, you typically have to paste the whole lot into ChatGPT.

Not so, with HARPA AI, let's see it in action!

So, open up the webpage you are interested in, ideally one of your own for the purposes of this particular prompt.

I am using a random post about dogs.

https://www.thesprucepets.com/can-dogs-eat-pasta-4796955

When you have the post open, click on the HARPA logo in your Chrome extension toolbar.

You can see what it should look like in my image above.

Then it will open up on the side of your screen, as below.

You can read all the info if you wish, or simply get ready to type your command as indicated by the green arrow.

HARPA comes pre-loaded with dozens of prompts, I haven't even begun to explore them all yet!

So, once you add a forward slash to the command area, it brings up the list that you can scroll through, see below.

But if you have a specific task in mind, you can type in a few words, and see what happens.

In this case, we are going to use the Content Analyzer, so that's what I type in, (don't forget the forward slash) and you simply click on the result.

Now, this is where the magic happens!

With ChatGPT, you would have to copy the whole text of the post, but HARPA is going to read it directly from the website!

So, the next step is to simply hit your Enter key.

Now, input the keyword you are hoping to rank for, and let HARPA tell you, if the post matches that particular Searcher Intent.

For this post, I assume they simply want to rank for the title of the post - Can Dogs Eat Pasta?

Input your keyword and press enter again.

HARPA first analyzes the post for Relevance and Expertise.

And then, as you scroll down, suggests Improvements, such as new subheadings, etc.

I have previously written a guide to using ChatGPT to analyze your content, but I think HARPA is much better.

It's easier to use, and looks directly at the website.

I hope you enjoy playing with this new tool, and I have found several prompts that are going to be very useful, which I will reveal in later posts!

Hello Diane,

This looks like a very interesting AI, I must admit I hadn't heard of it! I appreciate the heads up.

As you know, AI is very new to me, but having written a few blog posts on the subject and reading the replies, I'm gradually learning.

Have a great day.

Roy

Hi Diane,

Thank you very much for this. I had not heard of HARPA before. I have been using Rytr for the past few months and quite like it but I encountered the same problem as you where I had to copy and paste the desired text and this seems an easier solution with some pluses!

Thanks again,

Maria

Hi Diane,

Thank you for this post!

I opened YouTube for a couple of minutes this morning, fleetingly noticed a video about Harpa AI, then it was mentioned in a message to me as something somebody liked and now for the 3rd time in probably less than 15 minutes, I see it again. And in a article written by you!! I am obviously meant to take note of this. 👍😀.

I am on the iPad but will switch to laptop and meet Harpa!

All the best,

Julia

Thanks Diane already have the extension now the fun start learning some more with Harpa.
Have already looked at some of the features and have my website monitored as well so there is some checking out there as well.

Heaps of prompts to use that may take a bit of understanding but one done should make it easier

Andre

Thank you for this new information Diane. I have a question I saw somewhere you can enter a URL into an AI tool and ask information about the URL. One prompt listed was something like . Are there subject gaps in this URL? Does that sound familiar to you at all?

You could use something like "Look for knowledge gaps in the following post."

My previous post also covered how to identify what your competitors are covering, to make sure you at least have as much information as they do.
