So, do you find yourself keep writing the same old style of posts for your site? Want to change things up a bit? Here are five must-write blog topics that can be adapted for any niche.

Seasonal Articles

These are more suited to product niches and you need to plan well in advance for them. This allows for the post to be indexed and ranked. For example, Valentine's Day is coming up, but if you haven't already got your post out there, you have probably missed the opportunity. In that case, you could start thinking about Easter. Think about titles such as "Five Easter Gifts Your Teenager Will Love".

Industry News and Trends

This is more suited to well-established sites whose content gets ranked and indexed quickly. Otherwise, for newer sites, it will be "old news" before the post gets seen. However, if it's a trend that's here for the long run or a "best practice" that is unlikely to be replaced, then you can still write about it, as people will continue to search for it. An example would be "Five Real Estate Trends for Home Buyers".

Common Questions

Drill down into the common questions that people are asking about your niche, industry, or services. Make sure your title clearly explains that they are going to find the answer. Include a clear call to action if you plan on suggesting a product to help solve any problem. Ideally, a link to a review page on that product. Typical titles would be along the lines of "How to Banish Harmful Mould from Your Home".

Round-Ups

In effect, these are list posts, and you could actually tie them into individual product reviews you may have written. Say, you have reviews of several different items, each on their own page. Your round-up post could then summarise your findings and become a "best of" or a "top five" list with internal links to your reviews. Your title might then be similar to "Top Five Automatic Feeders for Dog Owners".

Product-Focused Articles

These are familiar to everybody, as they are where you will be placing your affiliate links. This is your opportunity to really explain the benefits of the products and how they can solve your reader's problem. Don't add too many links. You need a good balance of informative, written content. Your title could be "Five Essential Skin Care Products for Dry Skin".
