Take Aim at your goals

Tom was a member here before I joined and although he didn't write a lot of posts, he did enjoy creating quotes which he sometimes shared with other members, including myself.

One of my favorite quotes by Tom was:

“When doing Something without Thinking about it is the same Action as picking up a Rifle and Shooting at Something Without Taking Aim at it.” Tom Short.

Tom was right. We need to think things through and plan our course of action. It's important to know what our goal is, what we are aiming at. Only when our aim is set can we truly hit the target.

Ok, it is possible to aim and accidentally hit the bulls eye. But rarely. And repeating that action will not be possible.

Wealthy Affiliate encourages us to set goals. Think of how much you hope to make off your site. And how much time will you dedicate toward reaching that goal.

Once you have that, you can make a plan of action, a roadmap of sorts, to plot your course.

Another of Tom's quotes says it quite well, I believe.

“Evaluate, Investigate, Create, Activate. Now Your Life will be Great.” Tom Short.

That sums up the road course quite well, I think!

But follow it with a third of Tom's quotes:

“Lack of Action Breeds a Lack of Ability.” Tom Short.

Take Aim! Map it out! Then take action!
