Are you ready for this........

The fastest way to transform your life is through….movement..

Did you hear that? It's true and I'll say it again......

The fastest way to transform your life is through movement.

And I should know. It’s been the basis for every positive experience and direction that my life has gone. If it weren’t for dance and movement I don’t know where I would be today. Exercise can save your life. If anxiety or depression are holding you back in life, then exercise will help you immensely. Get up, Get up Get busy ~ Get up and move that body!!

Physical movement is the quickest and healthiest way to change your energy, mood, emotions and your attitude. The speed at which exercise can skyrocket your mood is instantaneous.

Test it out for yourself to see what works for you.

Are you stuck in a rut and feeling blue?

Work it out through your body. Stand up wave your arms, jog in place, do some push-ups, dance to your favorite song, sing, run, walk, bike…just get up and move. After you move, check out your mood. Do you feel better or worse? I can bet that you feel so much better!!

Here is a little retro 'Technotronic' song to get you up and MOVING!

Now....finish reading and writing those blogs and GET UP AND MOVE THAT BODY!!

Dancing as fast as I can. Thanks Diane

Don't I know it...keep those feet moving...lol!

Go for it!!

A lady after my own heart. I love going to the gym for aerobics and zumba; walks on the beach and runs around our neighborhood lakes. Whenever I need to blow off steam, I get moving.
Lesley

It is a wonderful way to blow off steam, and feel fantabulous afterwards :-)

Nice, now lets dance.
Thanks dear

I'm dancing :-)

Hi Diane,
I love your enthusiasm!! Moving does help your mood, an occasional nap doesn't hurt either..Lol!! Have a great weekend.

Love naps.....I took one of those this afternoon :-)

I wish I was able to but unfortunately certain conditions prevent me doing most of that, as much as I would like to :)

Just laugh more often that'll shake up your body...lol!

Well....even stretching is good for the body. There are so many things we can do sitting in a chair. All movement is so good for the body. I have stenosis, osteoarthritis, and osteopenia, but I will continue to keep moving until I am no longer capable......and that will never happen :-) ~ hugs

Thank you Diane, you look so fab, you are my inspiration to try and lose some weight. Various things in the last year, (including having to have a pacemaker,) have caused my weight to go up and it's so frustrating. I was in 2 national women's magazines in the UK for losing 84 pound and I want to get back there :)

Did the women's magazines ever find that 84 pounds for you? No wonder you're cash strapped!

Lol :)

I agree 100%

Thanks!! Let's move :-)

Ok, I took your advice (yesterday) and put in 7 hours in the yard mowing, trimming trees, trimming bushes, mulching and pulling weeds. So I have complied with your recommendations Diane.

Now, for today.............I am so sore I can hardly move.

It is back to the yoga mat for at least an hour tonight to work out some of this, as you stated: "Get Up And Move That Body"!

I would put in a smiley face, but even my face is sore!

Seriously - Thanks Diane for posting something that is always helpful.

All the best,
Steve

You're a mover and shaker...you can't fool me....lol!

So....now you need to get some R&R :-) No more lawn work for you this weekend!!

Amen, Thanks Diane !

Move it, move it, move it ........................dance like no one is watching......Johan.

Exactly!! :-)

I liked the blog and I liked feather, too! I do not know where you found it so colorful! I have one that's just blue!

Thank you, Dorina :-)

That's what my aunt keeps telling me. She's 86 and she's still dancing. She recently had a hip and knee surgery. But she's back to her regular routine ~dancing 3x a week! Well, I don't dance. So, I keep brisk walking and climbing up and going down the stairs at least 10x a day. It's perfect for me since my classroom is on the second floor. How about that for the move, Diane?

That is great that your aunt is still dancing!! Walking, climbing stairs and any kind of movement counts for something, right? Have a great weekend :-)
